Greetings people, I have a question for you if you have some time to spare.

Daraa is a hard target to crack.
It is so close to the Jordanian border so everything that the rebels want, they can get almost instantly. Medical treatment (fuck, just cross over to Jordan and get treated there), ammunition, vehicles and vehicle repairs, new equipment.
Not to mention the rebels have been digging in for years, Daraa being the ideological capital of the revolution.

Yeah, pretty much. It's a really big country, with perfect defensive terrain, large military-capable population, war-like attitude towards invaders and straight XXI century technology, so agreed, it's virtually impossible to conquer them in conventional way.

Not to mention coups and colour revolutions are pretty much off the menu as well as they've more than enough experience and expertise in keeping them under control. But then desu even economic warfare is pretty ineffective as it'll only do so much damage with China to counteract any Western sanctions and offer a limit to the amount of damage done by having their own strong trade links and dependency on Iranian oil and gas.

I wouldn't take it this far, but it's a very important stabilization factor for the middle east, being a fantastic buffer for all radical movements, yet radical itself to the point of resisting dangerous foreign influence.
Personally I also enjoy that they're not Arabs, and the Zoroastrian past was great too.
To sum up, for me there's not many bad things I could say about it, if any at all, and their geopolitical importance should be growing over time, bringing stabilization of the region with it.

In past six year which they wasted on toppling Assad they already could finish their pipeline via any other route they wanted. But they never did. You know why? Because pipeline was just an idea and/or dream if you like it, nothing serious about, no plans, no discussions, no investments, nothing.
But you know why it is bringed here and there constantly? Because Russia are bad guys, and this mythical pipeline would crash Russia with no survivors. Until the 19th century czernina was also a symbol in Polish culture. It was served to young men applying for the hand of their beloved ones after the parents rejected their proposal.
Polish soup made of duck blood and clear poultry broth. Sometimes known as "duck soup", hen, rabbit or pig blood can also be used.

It is, but it's bloated and incompetent and half of their super-expensive weapons are scams, especially the F-35 which is why you mentioned it.
Iran has modern weapons and tactics, and far more and better experience from Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Afghanistan. And they don't rely on weak allies or unreliable stuff like carrier groups.
A war between Iran and the USA will be a complete nightmare. It would be 10x times worse than Iraq, even if the USA wins it would be a complete disaster.
I learned from stratfor that the key component in fighting a war against Iran is to flip one of their minorities

If the UK at least drops out of the conflict now then we're set. Doubt the US will try to take on this situation alone; very good news for SAA and /sg/. And fortunately, we still have a lot of time until the Kurds become the main problem - just wipe out ISIL, then FSA and Nusra.
Or maybe...
Juuuuuuuust maybe
This is a tremendously complex conflict with hundreds of sides (big and small), each with several interests (with various rankings of importance), none of them with complete and accurate information on all other sides/interests/interactions/events, and all of them composed of thousands of people who each have their own goals and ambitions, with a delicious bonus of random and (un)related events to keep it interesting.

You are unintelligent and unable to think critically, you contribute nothing to the discussion. Even worse, you detract from the discussion with Your blind defense of the 2 bit dictator Assad, radical jihadis, and the Putin government. You would rather protect Assad from criticism rather than finding out the truth. Your eternal cuckoldry has made it impossible to discuss the issues surrounding middle east peace and every thread inevitably turns into cries of 'JIDF' 'muh jews' 'reddit'. You don't know or care to learn the truth about the US diplomacy, regional military strategy, or general geopolitics. You never lurked and never integrated and your values are in direct contradiction to ours, despite all of this you have the gall to claim that you are redpilled.

it all seems like a big mistake. either that or the US went in to be perfectly 100% clear what would happen if SYAF went after the SDF. the US says that SYAF was bombing SDF forces south of Raqqa, but the SDF weren't reporting anything at the time and it seems the US were just wrong about that, so either they wanted to make a statement or they fucked up. no huge consequences I don't think. russia says it will "target" any flying object over syria, but "target" and "fire upon" are pretty different

Doubt it. SAA just needs to prevent the Kurds from getting too much land south of the Euphrates, and the situation will politically work itself out as soon as ISIL and FSA are gone.
No one wants the Kurds in the region. Turks hate them, Assad hates them, Shiites hate them, Sunnis hate them. They will probably get an autonomous zone.

DeZ is encircled by ISIS, two separate pockets. Once is supplied by helicopters and planes, the other by just airdrops.
Qamishlo is within SDF held territory, but not besieged as far as I know. The SAA can still freely travel there by land. There's no danger to aircraft too, as planes routinely fly to and from Damascus.

It has been a stable area for the most part in the province. The exception being the clashes between SDF and SAA in Hasakah that ended in many dead on both sides, and the SAA withdrawing significantly from Hasakah. Some refer to it as a massacre for the SAA.
There aren't open hostilities though. The clashes south of Tabqah were minor skirmishes, warning shots, and potential mistakes in the fog of war.
