How did you all come to realize you wanted a traditional lifestyle?

For me, I realized this once I began working at a daycare. (It's a summer program at a church, not a state-run center; I work with one- to two-year-olds.) I've always loved kids, but taking care of so many at once made me realize that that was what I was born to do. It's not even a job to me; I realize that I'd do it for free. This is my sixth year working there, and I treat it as practice for when I myself become a mother. If you have a church, doing volunteer work with the children could allow an opportunity to mold their little minds to be more traditional. If you have family members with children, you can help convince them to do the same to their kids.

I think these days too many families leave each other alone to raise their kids. You obviously don't want to act like you know better, but you can try to move them to raise their children to be traditional. Talk about it with them and formulate ideas to prevent them becoming degenerate. Church is a good start, but also get them interested in hobbies, music that isn't degenerate, and reading books. Its rare that I find someone who reads a lot of books to be degenerate.

The other thing is to convince other women to become traditionally minded. Talk to them about marriage, settling down, having children, etc. Get them to realize that they cannot be female bachelors forever, and that they will become crazy cat ladies or old used up roasties by 30. You can't force them into it, but a subtle conversation and mentioning marriage might slowly convince them.

It is and will be the duty of traditional women to get other women to drop their degenerate ways. Men can only do so much.

I think a lot of what people think when they hear "female traditionalism" has to do with '40s and '50s aesthetics. But realistically, I think even if more women today decided to go traditional, the aesthetics wouldn't take a mid-1900s turn. My question is, what does the "modern traditional" woman's lifestyle look like? What's her fashion choices? How does she use today's technology to better serve her family, country, and community?
A cool way to think about it is if as time went on from the "good ol' days", we kept progressing but without losing traditional morals. What would that alternative universe look like?

I would say the modern traditional woman's lifestyle wouldn't preclude earning income if needed but it should include cooking, baking, gardening, farming if you can. Support your family every way you can off grid. Does not mean no phones or internet but I would say no social media for mere self promotion and no posting sexy selfies . pics with the kids for family and friends, yes. Showing other women how you do crafty stuff, yes. Fashion wise, anything you like at home; but if out in public or with mixed company keep it cute but modest. Drinking too much is a no no, especially as a mother. It can too easily lead to being distracted from being the best wife and mother you can be. A glass of wine or two on holidays, date nights is okay. Even a cigarette every once In a while if you have a really bad day. I try not to smoke in front of my son, and encourage my man to drink less beers. I have to do this gently and tactfully . nagging and bossing will get you nowhere. All advice that our great grandmas would have given; I think it still stands. If you do have male friends take a good hard look at the situation. Hobbies are mentioned above and hunting and shooting are also good.
