Chicago or Baltimore imo. Baltimore cops used to be able to get away with cracking heads a lot more (1980s or so) but that Freddie Gray shit really screwed them. Theres also a decent amount of corruption in the city and especially in the plainclothes narcotics units. Few years back a bunch got arrested for extorting cab companies and stealing drug money.

Basically any shithole, violent city where the leadership is liberal and cancerous, its hell being a cop. Baltimore and Chicago have weekends were there are 20+ shootings over the course of 2 nights. The rank and file cops are great guys for the most part, especially in Patrol. But the leadership is absolutely toxic. I have friends who work in PG County, MD and in Baltimore City and they both say the same.

There are nice parts of Chicago. Just like there are a couple nice parts of Baltimore still. But stay the fuck out of the bad parts. And yeah, Chicago was and to some degree still is a generally prosperous city. Its always been a violent criminal hellhole. Even back in the 20s.

I recommend you be really careful about which dept you join. The action may seem fun, but the leadership and possibility of you going to prison for doing your job are higher in many of those places. He got 2 weeks of on the job training mostly how to fill out stuff and talk on the radio. A badge a uniform and a gun and got thrown out against the Black Panthers and other niggers. 757 cop here. In my experience, and I'm saying this with all respect to our lads in the military. Most soldiers make absolute shit cops. Departments are hot to trot on hiring ex military but the reality is they make absolutely awful police officers. Lose their cool way to quick. Very quick to respond with force when situations could be talked down. Most of the ex mil guys on our department are older. The new hires don't last long, they end up doing something they shouldn't have and get quietly told it might be good for them to resign.

As I said no disrespect. But he reality is he two careers are very different and there's always a chance you'll get an excellent officer out of an ex military guy. But mostly and it might be because it's always the young guys who apply. They are pretty shit.

Iv got a few if you're still in the thread. Had to actually do some work, domestic.

So I'm patrolling and I meet up with a friend of mine. We park next to each other and chat. When we hear a scream and a thud. My buddy looks over and says "Officer anon, someone just threw out a perfectly good black girl" we get out of our units and this chick was thrown from the second story. Her boyfriends up there screaming about she's a cheating bitch ectect. We call it in and go up. Dudes barricade his bedroom door. A K-9 unit arrived and we're all at the door. Our plan is for my buddy to kick in the door. Send the k9 in and rush behind it.

Now I won't use his name. But my friend bless him is a nice guy. But not filled with common sense. He puts his size 14 boot right through the center of the door instead of under the handle. He puts a hole in it and proceeds to put his leg into that hole. The thing is the door comes in anyway so k9 is released. This is all happening so fast. We start to rush. But the doors not collapsed. It's coming back with a hopping buddy of mine. We crash into him. Door comes off hinges. We all land in a tangle. Meanwhile the k9 is absolutely savaging THE FUCK out of the guy. We finally get untangled and get the damn dog off of him. My sergeant rolls up to find my friend with his leg still stuck in the fucking door and it's detached now. He can't get the god damn thing off. We end up having to call the fucking fire department to come and chop the damn thing in two.

Oh absolutely. We've all done shit like that. Another time at a bar fight a fellow officer go thrown out the same window 6 times in about 3 minutes. He's a short guy with a hell of a complete about it. Little red faced Patty. Just wouldn't stop running back in. In the end another officer said fuck this since it was a 6'7 tall buck nigger as the main instigator. Pulled his baton and went to strike. Only for him to pull away and officer patty to run right into it. Took an asp baton across he forehead. He was alright but knocked out for a good couple hours.

Personally Iv done shit like. Lock my keys inside of my squad car. Buy coffee from a 7/11 that was being robbed. Sat down awkwardly and had my can of OC go off in my car. Received a code 1 call in the middle of getting blown by my girlfriend in my cruiser. That one was the worst. Rolled up lights and sirens with my girlfriend in my unit and my fly still down.

Thankfully no one noticed he second part and my Sergeant was understanding that I was "picking up my girlfriend to take her home" if a little mad I didn't clear it with him first.
