Well, the Natsoc sense of the term socialist came from a time where Germany had opposing philosophies they called "socialism", but they were philosophies about social organization, not economics. Marxism removed the social philosophy, and made everything economic. They argued back and forth about "true socialism" until WWII. Because the Marxists won the war, the world now lets them define what "socialism" means. When someone says "socialism" today, they mean Marxism/Communism, and don't even know any other kind of socialism ever existed. Natsoc "socialsim" refers to the sense of "pro-social vs. anti-social", wheareas Marxism refers to socialism only in terms of "socializing property to dismantle class differences".
