here's what i think may have happened

People at DNC find out or even just suspect Seth is leaking info. They send a couple thugs to threaten/question him, possibly people he knew, hoping maybe to scare him into doing as they say, like start sending disinfo to discredit the info already leaked and poison WL. They follow him from the bar, maybe to a restaurant, he talks to his gf on the phone for a long time, maybe they're having a fight over the phone. The thugs wait patiently for their opportunity, maybe they are even sitting with him in the restaurant. Seth finally gets off the phone, leaves the restaurant, starts walking home. They confront him on the street when no-one else is around. Seth is a little buzzed and pissed off and tells them to fuck off, there is a scuffle, the thugs panic and shoot him and then flee.
The thugs phone their bosses and tell them what happened. They're not sure if he's dead. Phone calls are made. The deep state fix team goes into action. They arrange hospital 'security' so they can get a pro in there to finish him off for sure. Insiders at the dc police and fbi go to his house and take all his electronics.

So? Do you know how many people work in hospitals? Plus, she's a vagoo doctor. They're technically trained in surgery, but at a big urban hospital, there's no way she'd be involved with this.

Honestly, the best avenue to find the who/what/when is to physically go to the hospital, walk into the emergency department (you can just find the entrance and follow a group of people entering after they swipe an ID) and walk around getting the names of doctors/nurses/etc by looking at their badges. Hell, secretly record, use google glasses, write stuff down, etc. And if you're dressed up in shirt/tie, nobody will even think you're out of place. The staff there honestly aren't going to give a fuck.

Anyway, that's a start. Getting the names of the people in the ED. From there, we can try doing more research on them, possibly contacting them and asking if they know anything (it was a year ago, so they probably forgot) but it's still worth a shot.
