What am I missing about the gender pay gap? I always see leftist and feminazis bring it up and how unfair it is

Obviously there is:

>Males work longer hours, take fewer and shorter vacations, pursue leadership roles
>Females work less hours, take more and longer vacations, have burden of becoming a mother where they can take long leave
>If females truly earned less than more companies would hire them over males

Is it about the fact males seem to get promotions quicker? Because I've yet to see blatant sexism when it comes to pay, I have not seen any job role where two people who have the same job role and have worked for the same length of time earn different pay. So is it all just bitterness? Have women become like niggers? Blame their own shortcomings on someone else instead of taking responsibility for their own life? What do they expect the corporate world to do start paying them more for the same job role or do they want women to be fast tracked when it comes to promotions and pay rises?
