Here's all the Tanteidan stuff right now:
Magazine 1-153, JOAS Specials 2003 and 2006-2015:
Convention books 1-21 (21 is still missing a few pages -- I'm working on it):
Because a lot of people ask for specific things outside of the archive, I'll throw a some recent stuff up here:
Tanteidan Magazine 151: http://www.mediafire.com/?pa6sdm1zvax60b7
Tanteidan Magazine 152: http://www.mediafire.com/?j5wfvqwknwsnrs6
Tanteidan Magazine 153: http://www.mediafire.com/?r9r2qhervya8oq5
Convention Book 19: http://www.mediafire.com/?5a94hft6h44zblc
Convention Book 20: https://www.mediafire.com/?122bf4kdznroxcc
Convention Book 21 (missing pages): https://www.mediafire.com/?vgyxsr8gs9fq07g
Please, keep the focus on this issue. It is a regret this issue not be complete.
We'll be forever grateful for their work. If you share only the missing pages, it is of great value.
Thank you in advance.
Listen here you little shit, the goddam tiger diagrams haven't even been published anywhere; so only kamiya and i suppose some testfolders have it; unless it's published you can shut your fucking mouth until it is you begging annoyance
>I have a copy of the book, but no scanner.
>Are pictures of the missing pages worthwhile?
Hello, Yes for sure it's worth, I do not particularly see any problem.
Thank you for providing for us
Olympiad was easy to get by sending an email to that Ermakov guy. (A trash email address one won't ever use after one get the file works fine too.)
If you can't even do that in the many months before the olympiad starts, that's your fault...
Kamiya tiger diagrams do exist, but not many people have them yet. I imagine they'll be published in a Tanteidan before too long...
Does anyone can share "Origami Animal Sculpture" of John Szinger please?
I'm interested in origami from a mathematical perspective, since I've heard that folding can do some cool things in geometrical construction (e.g. trisecting angles).
If anyone has some nice e-books (or even just some links) from that point of view, I'd appreciate it. So far, I've just been going off the links from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathematics_of_paper_folding , which are either expensive books or overview websites.
It was in the archive earlier on. Here it is separately.
JOAS 2003: http://www.mediafire.com/download/m7f86epj5bt5azz
The OSME conference books are awesome for that kind of thing. They get pretty intense. I only have 3-5, but they should be a really good start.
OSME 3: http://www.mediafire.com/download/6jyer952cnah0fr
OSME 4: http://www.mediafire.com/download/fcnqa1xequdcmbd
OSME 5: http://www.mediafire.com/download/iffu2njiuyrqbrq
It's not Kamiya's, but I like this tiger better; it has claws.
any one has this diagram? Thank a lot.
Yes, and this is all which seems to be online. The diagram was given out for a limited time 1-2 years ago, as a reward for doing a survey. But I'm pretty sure if you write a nice email to Mr. Komatsu, you'll have good chances to get it.
>BTW, I read somewhere that they are going to ban people who registered several times but never sent their results.
This is already the case. If you registered and did not send at least one picture, your email is banned for next years.
Anyone have a origami Knight? Horseman?
>>533231 A similar Knight?
I need a similar origami knight, anyone have that?
Has anyone bought one of the 2 Shuki Kato diagrams? I know they're cheap, but I'm broke. More interested in the wolf than the elephant. Willing to trade if you post them and are looking for anything in particular.
Does anyone have a diagram for Jun Maekawa's sitting deer, from Viva! Origami?
Can anyone share NOA Magazine 445 please?
Or just the beckoning cat diagram (pic. related).
Looking for diagram or tutorial for this model: Raposa (Fox) by Joao Charrua, is in Pajarita convention 2015 it seems. Pls help!
>>533389 That's weird I came here to request exactly the same issue of NOA Magazine (#231)! Must be something in the air... anyway, yes, this is one I'm most sad to be missing. Someone must have it because people have folded Kawamura's car before...
Oddly enough the first result in google... not being mean, I'm just legitimately surprised that actually worked. Anyway, enjoy!
Just google "NOA Magazine PDF" Its the first link. I was going to link it but the dumb fucking spam filter must think its spam.
>NOA Magazine PDF
I wonder if different results pop up depending on where one is googling? The first link that I see is for NOA #445. Even if I google "NOA Magazine 231" it is nowhere to be found...
does someone has "real origami" by fukui hisao ?
links to descriptions of the book :
I really want to fold the Crested Kingfisher pic related. It's diagrams are published in JOAS 24 (2014). It's in here >>532831 but very low res and blurry. Impossible to fold such a complex model following very low res diagrams. I wonder if anyone have a high res version of that issue.
I have this version of the diagrams (not from OUSA). I hope it will be useful.
It's because this person is a freaking IDIOT. This is the same
person that keeps asking for all kinds of crazy shit.
He or she just won't get off their lazy ass and look for anything.
He or she just wants everything handed to them on a silver platter.
Hello. I'm looking for this book here:
Geometric Origami by Faye Goldman
Actually I don't even need the full book, I'd be satisfied with simple pictures of the 15 models in it (they snapology, so it should be clear enough how to make them based on pics).
>>533667 How old are you? five? or less?
Can't you fucking read or just google something? That book, drawing origami 2, is scheduled for next year.
At less do some research on your own.
People like you is killing this art.
You are the one who needs to stay calm with all your
requesting of everything you see and find without checking
to see if it has been released yet. Besides, you're
the ignorant one, constantly asking for everything
that hasn't been released, like people can just magically
make this stuff appear.
I wish shit like this was a bannable offence. Jesus, I killed myself learning English early on before I even considered posting on 4chan and now I see people like this wanting free shit without putting effort into anything.
Thayna, don't get us wrong, but >>533731 is right. If you don't communicate in the right way, people either tend to ignore you or they get pissed off/confused if they don't find your language funny instead. If you've used a translation service, you better try finding a better one because I know that even google translate can do better than what you serve us.
Please make a better effort, your language is kind of like the one in this clip, and for the moment it seems that you need another one of your type to be able to understand what you are trying to say: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JmA2ClUvUY&feature=related
Best regards from all of /po/ .
Isn't Thanya Portuguese? A while ago I ran Portuguese subtitles for an anime through Google Translate because English versions were nowhere to find, and they came out perfectly legible, only some odd grammar here and there. So I always figured that Portuguese is one of the languages which works extremely well with machine translation, at least into English...
Google translate works perfectly fine, I used it all the time when I was learning English to get the meaning of words I hadn't heard before.
But her(?) posts almost seem like trolling, there's no way someone could be this bad at proper grammar. And I've seen foreigners trying to learn English and I was one myself.
