does /out/ believe in skinwalkers? share stories of spookie experiences while /out/
not really /out/ but, Im a tow truck driver and one night i got called out to an accident on a Humvee trail out by Nisqually, Wa. Someone had stolen a car and crashed it into a pine. The MPs escort me about 3 miles in to the wreck and promptly fuck off. While im unwrapping this car from the tree i keep feeling eyes on me. i look into a clearing and there is a giant person holding a staff standing there watching me while i work. I freak out and run to the truck and hit all the lights. I hop on the spotlight to point it at the figure and its gone. Skin crawling i throw my straps and GTFO. I stop by the mainroad and fill out my paperwork, then get going. On the way back, i passed over a tall bridge, and on the creekbed below, there is the figure looking up at me. I chalked it up to exhaustion and dropped the car in the yard, and passed out in my truck
Why are you so scared of skin walkers? They are completely harmless observers of human culture. Just like anthropologists are for humans. You don't get scared of anthropologists who act like a member of the tribe to fit in do you? Then why are you so scared? I mean you'd think by all the racist stories around here that skinwalkers are going to murder you and eat your babies, and we see that's ridiculous, who would do a thing like that?
