I'm on mobile right now so I can't quite tell but it looks like you've got a default bevel/emboss on the wording and it looks really bad imo. I'd take that off and just add a clean drop shadow with hard edges. If you want to give it a little depth that doesn't seem as out of place as the straight black and white, colorize the light and shadow just a little. Manually make the lightened portion slightly more yellow orangeish, and the shadow a deeper red hue and a slightly higher value

Bad drivers are true of any place "touristy". NYC, Tampa, LA, anywhere refereed to as "Downtown". dirtbikes are notably harder to ride because they're typically higher up and geared lower / torquier down low, so it's easy to give them a little too much throttle and fuck up

just buy a cheapshit 90's junker 250 bike off of craigslist and practice on that. you're gonna dump whatever you ride, it's a part of learning.

I did the same thing with mine. The stickers lasted much longer than the ones I applied on my windows. But my vinyl from bomb squad shrunk in the heat. The stuff I ordered from yummy has been on it for over a year with no issues though.

photos as a background, especially when it's mostly covered by text, is kinda crap imo

like if you're going to use a photo as a background rather than some kind of design then the photo should be highlighting or showing off something rather than just kind of being there

also with photos you need commercial rights, you can get around this by taking them yourself but then you need to be at least a halfway decent photographer for anything interesting

honestly making abstract stuff isn't the hard part, it's figuring out what you want to do that feels right and looks decent

also the name is less about the name and more about how you sell it, there are some brand names on here that if you told them to me with no context i would probably think are dumb but work fine with the general theme of the store

i'm not crazy about it after sitting on it for a day or two but i had some interest and wanted to offer more than one so i had it printed anyway.

The text over photo slaps are not typically well received here.
The one you posted doesn't work very well. The line you added on the text should be in line with the H and the E. And you can also see were the line was added on the G.
I would recommend for you to practice more. Look up tutorials online and try out different things.

I'm a hobbyist photographer and lemme say that taking good photos is a lot more difficult than you'd think.

If you're wanting to do it for the express purpose of making stickers you'd be much better off either finding free images or licensing images as you want/need them.

for instance the businessman in this picture is a stock photo i got on shutterstock for like $10, and they have a ton of other stuff on there too.

alternatively you can always scout out places like deviantart or wikimedia commons for photos with creative commons licenses that allow commercial use.

okay first, don't use the strikethrough option on text because it's trash obviously

here's what you do:

remove the stroke effect from your type layer
remove the strikethrough from your type layer
rasterize your type layer
use the rectangular marquee to copy the underline, then paste it into it's own layer
position it where you want it
ctrl-e to merge the layer down
re-apply the stroke effect to your now rasterized type layer


at least that's how I'd do it, theoretically the underline length is the same as the strikethrough and by copying it you can align it left/right with snapping and then fine-tune it up/down with the move tool before merging and applying effects

also automotive photography is pretty difficult but here's a few tips:

>get a circular polarizing filter
this lets you get rid of glare and reflections off of the car

>don't shoot in direct sunlight
pretty much a general rule, everything looks like shit in hard, direct midday light. try to use natural lighting at dusk or dawn

unless the tread pattern is interesting or unique, it's usually much better to show off the design of the wheel itself than it is to show off the tire tread


for an example, here's a picture of my daily driver I took about two years ago that i thought was great at the time but in hindsight it's shit:

slaps should be done at 300dpi. that high speed shitp/o/sting one I did was printed at 300dpi and it's still clear enough to read the small as fuck text all over it. any lower resolution or size will make shit grainy and look bad.

realistically shoot in the highest resolution you can and always use RAW, you can always downscale cleanly but upscaling looks like shit if you do it more than just a little bit.

I had some ideas for Aus specific designs that I was thinking about selling for cost of materials because of the situation here, but I couldn't find anywhere local for what I wanted and looking at international printers it was too rich for what I wanted.
If you want to profit I dare say you'd struggle badly unless you have some really neat design ideas for ausfags because in the end you'll have to charge more than U.S. sellers + shipping anyway and obviously that's a vast majority of posters here.

Im an Australian store and ive tried a few printers.
Senpai's decals is probably the biggest, based in queensland, When I used them there was an issue with the colour on the slaps so I went with someone else for my next design. If hes fixed his printer id go back because of how much you save on shipping compared to someone like offset. eg. 10 bucks from senpai compared to 40 from offset
