JUNE 24TH MEET
The Meet will start at Wally's Drive-In:

The Meet starts at 11am where we gather together at the Wally meeting spot. While we wait for others to show up or top off their gas, we'll make some more plans. Some people show up even earlier because they might eat lunch before the Meet. Everyone will be rolling out at 1130am. There are panoramic views as you drive on roads atop cliffs with no guard rails to spoil your view.
If you've never visited national parks, please note many have entrance fees due to all those tax cuts. First time visitors to Mount Rainier National Park should see:

The route will start down 410 up thru the mount rainier park to the Paradise Inn major tourist destination. Its multiple parking lots are full unless you arrive before 9AM so we can't park there. We will then go down the other side through Elbe and back to the starting location.
As of right now it is bring your own food since there is no agreement as of yet to have a cookout along the drive. Usually people have brought sealed snacks and drinks to share. As with past Meets, people can gather to eat dinner together at a restaurant at the end of the Meet. Some people take pictures with their phones and beam them over to others (or collect some) at that time.
Stops along the route will be made as the group sees fit.

if mr snacks is coming out this go round, the speeds will be a lot more tame and we may break into two groups depending on how everyone feels since some of us will have slow cars or just want to rubberneck.

we got kinda rowdy last meet for a bit and and one person had a close call due to kinda shitty tires. it was offputting to a couple people, plus we got told off by the cops a little bit later.
we had a radio train going but the back of the pack ended up losing contact which got things screwed up. etiquette was broken, made for some confusion for a bit etc...
no wrecks though so we still have cali beat.

S/o/cal uses this method. The fast cars will pass other tourist cars on the road and that is where the challenge occurs. Sometimes, those cars don't want you to pass so they speed up and then slow down when there are oncoming cars stopping you from passing.

well the lead last time was a corvette, a MS3, a bike and a ctsv so most of the cars we ran across couldn't cockblock, thats why the cops got involved though since despite holding up 3 times the legal limit of cars they got all butflustered at being passed.

Those cars you illegally pass will call 911 to tell the cops there is a pack of speeding cars RACING. Be careful of triggering cops because racing allows the cops to confiscate the car in this state.
