Bikes are way too easy to customize. Want a sportier suspension? Doing your own fork swap is cheaper than having a shop rebuild your forks and easier than rebuilding forks yourself.

Tons more storage space. Had a tall tin container (about 1.5 feet deep) that slid almost perfectly where my airbox used to be, bit of wiggling and edge hammering. Old airbox had brackets for my fusebox and other random silver electric smooth thingies, so I had to drill new holes and re-bolt them back on. First small customization on the bike.

is it normal that i blow my fork seals yearly?
on my last set of forks, after i bought the bike in october, i had to re-do the fork seals in the spring. then in a crash i bent the forks, so i got new forks and put on fresh seals in them. now its almost a year later and they are leaky again. is there a way to make my fork seals last longer besides stopping riding like an ass? maybe heavier fork oil? lighter fork oil? idk

Do you ride offroad at all or get the bike dirty? Most of the time on a dritbike dirt gets trapped in the oil seal and causes a leak, you can buy a little tool to clean it

It will probably sound like God is pissed off and strolling on by but you'll grow tired of it really quickly. That bike is one of my all time faves regardless. I wonder how it rides...

Tinnitus, temporary deafness and ear pain after will show up if you ever ride for more than 40 minutes at a time. And that's with earplugs on. The straight pipe life gets old kinda fast.

I want a comfy sport-tourer for two up riding that is reliable, can hold top case and side panniers, is simple and without electronic aids and stuff like heated seat, remote adjusted windscreen, electronic suspension and all that shit. (Maybe heated grips.) Also not too expensive, and can do 130-140 mph no problem, suggestions? The triumph sprint gt and Versys 1000 LT seem nice.
