I like dual sports but it kills me to only have 40hp. A 70+hp dual sport would be amazing to me. Do larger adventure bikes ride like lightweight dual sports at all?
What about "super"nakeds? They look like they have the ergonomics of dual sports kind of, but not the ground clearance or tall seats.

I wish I had the opportunity to ride more bikes.

I rode the PR2s on a previous bike and I loved them to bits. Great durability, great feel, very good grip on all temperatures. Webm related was on PR2s.

They're plenty fast for everyday shenanigans too. Very often you can't get softer tires to their proper operating temperature on public roads.

countersteering motions are actually really small, to the point you won't see it in your headlight. What actually happens is when your wheel flips over from the countersteer back to the inside of the corner, it points almost directly at the ground giving no distance vision when leaned over any decent amount. It's only slightly worse than fixed headlights since their headlight beam turns sideways too. Fixed headlights will shine directly into oncoming traffic too.

I went to a dealer and the hayabusa actually felt pretty good. However, the dual exhaust delete for a light single exhaust is such a fuckin must have. With those dual exhausts my chicken legs could barely lift it from it's stand.

Sure there's a reason it's more expensive. It's not a bad bike; it just seems like an odd offering. People who are looking at smaller bikes probably also want cheaper bikes, and don't know how to wheelie, and don't know what a radial tire is or why it might be important. But people who are ok with spending money and know they will want to wheelie and want to carve down canyons are probably going to get a 650 or an FZ or something. The 390 is the premium small offering. It's niche, kind of like a mini cooper or a smartcar.

Brakes come with a 300MM front rotor and Carbon-ceramic HH pads which get better when warm. Very not grabby. If you like grabby, EBC will sell you sintered. Some people like grabby brakes, I dunno why.
