ask someone who just purchased a prius c anything
>dat smooth as fuck cvt
>there are people on /o/ right now still driving with traditional transmitions with lateral g's between shifts
You clearly don't understand the flaws with a cvt
But I already knew you were ignorant when you said you drive a "priud"
super great not fucking with the shitty chevy "eco" gimmicks where the engine shuts off entirely then you have to wait for it to start again, super fucking annoying if you're in a fastfood lane
also i love the wide view windshields, the temp control is an actual number not just a analog blue/red circle
and the eco gauges are the biggest thing that i loved
only reason i stuck with the 15 instead of the 16 is cause they're changing the battery type so ill let others be the guinnie pig for the next 2 years then when i turn this in it'll either still be LiOn or back to older Nippon based
on the way home from the dealership which is about 15-20 minutes highway and then into the city my estimate guage was 51mph
need to work on the breaking tho, it seems like harder braking is better for the batteries than slowly
OP HERE, yeah my boyfriend's transfluid son is the one the talked me into this great buy, here are the reasons he/she gave me that convinced me to buy
> roomy backseat, great for family orgy
> power windows, went you need to suck some dick when ya get pulled over
> electric, saves me money on gas, which I can put towards my dildo collection
>tfw 6 speed manual
kek, nice prius OP
I don't know, but the $1000 felt pretty nice :^)
you'll need more than that to make up for the depreciation in the last 3 months, kek.
it's almost guaranteed to happen in any state adopting california emissions laws, mostly the liberal states
Let's face it, the main reason why CVT didn't become as big was because Bernie's band of thugs banned it before ever appearing in Formula 1 (it's obvious he's corrupt). And thus barely any research money was spent on improving CVT.
Either that or I'm still upset that Dutch technological prowess was banned before even getting a chance.
>why CVT didn't become as big
virtually every cheap weeb car has CVT now
Immediate redline until you're done. Battery boosts depending on SoC (oh, State of Charge) .
Will easily outlast any auto, too.
Never cared what people thought. I've invested 7k I'd have spent on fuel with a civic since I bought it. Only paid 2.5k more than the civic and got better options too. My last tank was $4 for 400 miles, because grocery $0.499/gal.
