Hated mod? Plasti dip, sure you can take it off and a lot of people say "it's easy to take off!" no. After a summer or two, depending on where you live, it's gonna be REALLY hard to take off. Where a pressure washer won't help you either, and getting every little piece out of the corners is satan's curse for plasti dipping. I had to debadge a whole car to get rid of the plasti dip off the badges.

A proper piece of metal, chromed or polished on the lip, with flat black paint, it actually impressive. The problem is you can chrome plastic now, and a black finish is cheap. I swear every Mexican in my area who drives a 90s Silverado/Tahoe/Suburban has installed these tacky fucking lights (usually older than pic). Altezza-style lights are horrible in general, but IMO these are some of the worst. Nothing about those GM trucks is aesthetically suited to circular lights.
