Trick flow top end rebuild kit will run you on the high end, while some kit from Summit will run you on the low end.
My LS7 sounds pretty fucking badass. No one has ever said "dude that sounds like a shit ass 4.6 Mustang!"
Which I only bring up cause some choad in my office complex has a late 90's mustang with the worst sounding v8 on this entire fucking planet.
My next car will be anything GM with an LS in it. I've had a few turbo 4 cars that I've upgraded. If I threw the same money into a turbo kit for an LS motor I'd be sitting pretty.

Question: Ive got an 06 5.3L vortec in my truck and I'm looking to make some cheap power. Any specific headers or cams or similar bolt ons that would be good?
Also would headers from a 90s camaro V8 be good if they even fit?

Nope. The heads from a big bore motor won't fit a a small bore. The intake from cathedral port heads won't fit the standard port heads. Only some accessories interchange, moron.
