· Decide which lakeside route we're taking.
· Improve navigation coordination, previous meet was kind of a mess.
· Choose a better time/place with less traffic for maximum hoonage.
· Keep the OC designs coming.
· Where the fuck is Crown Vic with the footage.
· Whatever else you can think of.
le rich purple drank ute :-DDD
I think this route would probably be better since everything after 3478 is kind of straight and boring.
We covered about that distance or more driving from Montrose to Brookshire and then back and forth along the section of the track two or three times, plus the trip back to Houston.
How do you people even come up with these routes? They look so beautiful once you've got them routed out, but I'd never be able to find good loops just staring at the map, there'd be too much guesswork.
It was actually pretty difficult, since most of the roads are straight with only slight curves, and whenever I did find a windy fun looking road on Google Maps, it almost always turned out to be dirt.
Fortunately Bing uses a different color for unpaved roads, but it was still pretty hard to find enough that looked decent to complete a route.
3/10 Apply yourself.
You guys were bunched up a bit, and I didn't want to get tangled up in it when one of you went full spaghetti and crashed. The last meet I was at an RSX understeered into a guardrail.
You wanna see what it can actually do?
>sanic on curves
>light ass bends on a straight road
>everyone is driving slow
>those horrible lines
>car looks far from stable
>still going slow
downloaded and emailed to the police by the way. better hope they dont catch you at the next organized illegal street race meet
Stiff swaybars male the car more reactive to bumps, giving a less stable appearance.
Also, it was filmed in Mexico, so good luck.
How about something along the lines of "Space City Orange Flames" or "Space City Flames"?
Well I've been trying to map out some roads around Hempstead, Highway six and the Hitler Highway and I've come up with this so far.
Agreed, not only that, but there's no paved roads north and east of Houston, however west of Houston most of the small roads are paved at the very least.
Anyway I say set the meet limits to 105 in the north, and the Brazos in the West, and Highway 36 east of the Brazos in the South.
What do you guys think about switching leaders here and there next time? I know only Focus ST anon knew the Brookshire route, but it would be a cool way to see who drives the hardest/best.
How about this one?
Leave from 290, fuck around, come back from 45.

Any UH bros down for a quick cruise down 45 tonight? I have a rehearsal from 7-10pm and i'm gonna need a good(short) drive afterwards.
I'm actually at erp right now waiting for traffic to die down. Not going to be here until 10 tho
>tfw guy in car in front of me doing the exact same
Actually the last bit on 105 is just to get back on 45 quickly since there's no roads near that point worth going on.
I made the route by stringing together recommended motorcycle roads from this map here: http://www.motorcycleroads.com/Routes/Texas_119.html
I can tell, 105 on the lake is a six road full of traffic developed to hell and you see the lake literally for only 10 seconds driving
Literally all you see of the lake driving east.
That's it, nothing else.

what if we block all the lanes on a highway then have a drag race
This reminds me. Should we begin trying to post lap and/or stage times? Establish course records? I definitely want to do it, but I'm unsure how.
Have three people, the runner, a follower (to ensure he abides by the route, if it includes intersections), and a timer?
Set up an automated device to record? Use a telemetry data collecting device? Accept unaltered speed dash cam footage as proof?
Creating our own leaderboards would be the shit.
usually on campus
mon/wed 1-530 although I'll probably stay on campus until 630 most of the time
Pretty much always parked at ERP since I get there late ish
I can set up a temp email so we can exchange numbers
Can you help me with sourcing a M54B30 for my 330i?
Please I just want to go fast again ;-;
Protip: The detour off of 3090 you have us taking is unpaved.
I mean unless you guys are okay with unpaved roads, because these's this really neat route east of Navasota, but it's mostly graded dirt.
So I guess that's a no.
I really wish I knew. Houston is the 4th largest city in the US by city limit population, and 5th largest by metro area population, I don't know why we don't get traction.
For bmw I've only really ever worked on E30s w/ m20s and a Z4. I've been looking for engines and parts to swap for mine. Usually I just check craigslist daily for my specific keywords, and ebay is pretty good too.
This place, since Google points the address in question at somewhere stupid.
I really don't give a fuck as long as there's nothing in our way so we can go at our own pace (be it fast or slow).
Traffic ruined the last meet.
Camry Anon here. Sorry, but I can't go, I gotta do my tax return and deal with some laundry, and then I'm meeting my parents for dinner downtown, so going out to Huntsville isn't something I can sneak away for today.
Well, I just finished the circuit in 2 hours and 57 minutes despite being slowed up by normies and road work at the end and only pushing the car at about 60-70% of what I'd be doing during an actual group run.
I'd wager that we could probably finish a group run in less than two and a half hours.
Turbo seized on my mk3 a couple weeks back. Gonna order a 57trim upgrade with my tax return. I probably won't be at any meets until march. It's so frustrating to drive a fast car in limp-mode and everyone still wants to race lol. W/o the turbo it feels like I'm making 120 wheel.
For you Tomball/Cypress guys.
There's one or two little circuits that can be made here that involve multiple 90 degree corners. The one northeast of the school is wide and slide-able, while the others on the left side of the map are tight and better for gripping. It's not a very big place, so it's easy to scope out beforehand and get a couple laps in. The risk lies in the fact that it's by a school and some houses, but if you go at the right time it's pretty dead.
The horizontal straight directly above the school is a known local drag spot (going east to west) if you feel so inclined.
Dude that's what's up. Anywhere little back county road where 249 ends and off of 2920 is badass as fuck. Too bad there's no hills this far down south in Texas. You ever go to those meets at Wolfies of Spring Cypress and 249?
I'm always on campus. I also have emergency supplies at all times if anyone ever gets in a bind.
Someone just call some weirdly specific shit out and make it sound really authoritative. That's the only thing that worked last time.
Could be fucking anything, and we'd do it because someone sounds like they know what they're doing.
