Youll need either a w58 or r154 trans, the proper bellhousing, flywheel, driveshaft, clutch pedal, master cylinder, lines for all that, and mounts, etc. So, as hard as any other manual swap, also the wiring for reverse and probably some repinning in the harness. Thats just off the top of my head.

Went to San Diego for a dealer listed "excellent condition 6-speed all stock" e36 M3.
