I'm not a fan of the looks of the Seville/SLS. The STS body cladding makes a world of difference.

If it were my car, I'd head to the junkyard and find an STS that I could swap bumpers/door trim/lower side valences with. Convert air bags to coils, drop the whole thing about an inch and a half. Find some nice 17/18 inch wheels, tint the windows and you'd have a hell of a nice cruiser.

You could also go for come cheap performance if you wanted. That 275hp LD8 is no slouch and with a 3.71 gear swap from a STS/ETC, A/C delete/bypass, and some weight reduction you would have a barge considerably faster than it looks. Stock STS/ETC times were actually faster than the beloved Impala SS and Mercury Marauder. With a little work, that car actually has some real potential.

Fucking absolute garbage engines. We had to tow me mum's STS with my dad's Expedition to the junk yard so we could get max value. We currently have a renter who has an 01 which is suffering from the same shit: bad headgaskets.Run away from these pieces of shit. They are no good.
