Go with Lingenfelter if you're wanting someone to mod your Vette. Hennessey pretty much only takes care of people for press like youtube events, there are tons of horror stories of him fucking peoples cars up and tell them too bad lol. Then he charges them for the car and gives them back a piece of shit.

The best story was the one he did with the GT-R where it was so fucked he just got rid of it. Ligenfelter gives a solid damn product for the prices they charge.

Those are the most half-assed joists I have ever seen. Fuck. I mean, holy shit. The closest one to the camera is like 5 scrap 2x4's nailed together, and the fucking things look like they are bolted into brick and mortar, meaning there is literally no structural integrity to speak of, and the lumber looks wet and it is sagging. favela/10

This garage was built sometime pre-1915 by some italian guys.

It is actually pretty solidly constructed. The fix you are talking about is 2x6's, it just looks like 2x4's because of angle. I think the joists run into the bricks, you just don't see that because they put boards between them.

Overall it seems pretty damn sturdy. There is less than 1/4th of an inch deflection in the roof structure with a heavy (1 foot) snow load on the top of that place, so... whatever.

The thing that scares me more than the roof is the electrical pickup, which is done with three brown 14 gauge wires, that exit the garage on the roof, swing up to the house, and disappear. The landlord tells me he has absolutely no idea what circuit the power tap is bridged off of.

What I do know, however is that the house itself has fuses instead of breakers, and if the lights or outlet go out, it will probably be a week before it gets fixed or more.

IIRC callaway can make you a sick C7 w/ up to 757 hp(or 620hp, like the big version, but better in everyway) which overlaps with the original Chevrolet warranty. That's telling a lot on how much they trust the man. Plus, they don't "experiment" with customer cars.
