obscure cars thread?
>DSMs
>obscure
These were all over the drag scene. You might argue the Talon was obscure but that's because it was a tiny brand.
>>14217355
well, it's obscure in europe :3
>obscure
I used to see more riced out DSMs than Hondas
and as the anon above me said they were huge (and still kinda are) in the import drag scene
I can only assume most are rotting away in junkyards now so thats about the only way theyre "obscure"

instead of shitposting like a 12 year old faggot you might as well either ignore the thread or contribute something you find more interesting. But I understand that there are people who are only interested in Toyobaru vs V6 Mustang threads.

>>14217488
>>14217491
What kind of SUV wasn't a rebadged Trooper at the time?
Isuzu Bighorn, Isuzu Trooper, Isuzu Trooper II, Caribe 442, Acura SLX, Chevrolet Trooper, Subaru Bighorn, SsangYong Korando Family, Honda Horizon, Opel/Vauxhall Monterey, Holden Jackaroo/Monterey and HSV Jackaroo.
>>14217495
Was this a production vehicle or just a prototype?
>>14217491
probably, yes. But I don't know if there have been any differences between the Trooper, the Holden Jackaroo and this.

Too bad they didn't make that. They had all the huilding blocks - they could've even cheaped out and used Mazda's K series V6 instead of the V8, and put the ZEM's suoercharger on it to compensate for the the lost power. I bet they could've made at least 200hp with a cheaper package that way.

Does this exist? Always liked the idea of a small displacement v8, the 2,4l v8 86 made me hhnnnnnngg but this... It looks ugly but that engine is interesting, how reliable would it be? Imagine how tiny the valves would be? How much rpm would it take??
Love it

Go to Massachusetts, DSMs fucking eat rust for breakfast yet they're still daily driven like its nothing over here. The state speedways spectator drags are dominated by DSM.
