It's a good econo-car with a strong engine. If you're lucky you got the trim with the turbo 4g and the AWD system. The interior is 6/10 but it has automatic seat belts and a decent sound system. This car best driven on long back roads with lots of turns. The eclipse needs you to take care of it regularly or else you will encounter problems.

At this point a 2nd gen eclipse will be a better option. Anything assembled poorly by the niggers in Illinois will have broken by now and you can buy a junk 4g to rebuild while you fix everything else wrong with it. ~10k should get you a great 90s awd all said and done.

They already are, just not as good. The newer cars outhandle DSMs by a wide margin but even the newer WRXs don't stand up to the early 4G63s.

Never happening. They were actually pretty overbuilt for what you got and easy to work on. I honestly feel that more 2G DSMs died from rust issues than anything.
