When I was a teen I always hanged out at my uncle's garage. Him and his friends always talked shit about Hondas. I guess I picked up on it because I don't like any Honda cars and I never owned one.

Really? when they first reviewed it (tesla roadster) they said some pretty nasty things about it such as how its charge would run out quicker than it actually did and they exaggerated its recharging time.

I think they actually got sued by tesla for trying to ruin the reputation of their cars with false information.

To be fair, journos are the best source we ordinary mortals have. Yeah the press is quite corrupt and it's all subjective anyway, but how else am I supposed to decide what to lust after?

Most of the articles I've read have been reasonably positive about the Cali. Thing is, if I'm spending that much I wouldn't want something reasonably good, I'd want something absolutely bloody brilliant.
