How To Buy A Legend
Ride in A2
Last thread archived.
Here's the first of the packages. New uncut engine harness. Will install it tomorrow.
Denji headlights should arrive tomorrow. Hype as fuck.
Yeah I'm probably gonna do everything Sunday. I do believe I have to take the front bumper off to get the new headlights installed too. That's cake, though.
Yeah "new". Only cost $120. They usually go for way more on eBay.
what do you guys think of this civic as a DD?
I found a couple other candidates, trying to downgrade from my '13 Scion TC because I don't have any income atm to pay the insane insurance on it.
bout time. also too many deer in my area for Denjis. be careful with those injector clips. the plastic is brittle so when lifting the clip you can break the little tab you pry against.
The first one is probably the best, but it is not a wise decision to buy an old Honda auto.
I hit the rev limiter for the first time. Was doing a delivery to the Honda dealer. Probably won't be doing that much anymore. Lol
I just wanted a cheap sports car
Now all my friends make fun of it and everyone here shitposts and makes ironic troll threads and ironic ironic posts and my friends call it a shitbox
They drive a miata, z31 and z31, mk III supra , mr2, and e36
Haven't had that happen for awhile lol
More people take pictures of the Frontier than my Integra.
anyone here with a 1st gen 4WD 5spd CR-V?
Considering getting one, but I'm just curious as to how the gas mileage is. Internet generally says around 20 (City), is that true?
Also, are there any problems I should know about?
If kept stock how reliable would you compare a say, fourth gen Prelude to a similar year Civic? Looking for a DD but the Civic is just too boring for me but if it's too big a leap in reliability I'll just get it.
Test fit clutch, pressure plate doesn't fit, top small, send khc10 back for khc09, hey khc09 fits, chromoloy 9lbs fly wheel doesn't fit khc09
For fucks sake. I was so excited, good news is exedy offered me 1/2 price on the racing clutch stage 1 good got 200 ftlb of torque
And Amazon refunded me half of the whole purchase. Still a pain in the ass.
I've got one. I get about 25mpg in mixed city/highway driving. 235k miles and the damn thing refuses to quit. Sometimes I go camping with it (pic related)
As far as problems go? Apparently the valves might need adjustment after a while. I checked mine and they're good to go. Solid cars, paid $2k for mine. Really the jack of all trades. Won't win any races but they'll be reliable, you'll have an urge to go camping in 20f weather, and your friends will ask you to help them move because of all the cargo space.
That's naming like my phone not a code
Honda autos (mostly the old ones) don't use a sprag or planetary.
Hit or miss, but mostly miss. The clutches like to go out on various models. The H4 can go out in a range of 110-300k miles. The H4A is more reliable, but they will start acting up around 150k if they're not taken care of (spoiler: most aren't) and the MP7A-SP7A are usually the most reliable.
As you're aware, Hondamatics are manual transmission shifted by individual hydraulic clutches. Maintenance plays a massive roll in keeping these transmissions up like any auto transmission, but in hindsight when buying an old Honda, it's not even worth buying an automatic. It's save time and headaches of wondering 'will S4 actually work today?'
Don't forget to sign in to bump thread m8s!
Fuck yeah man. I'm installing this harness now at 1 AM. I highly recommend pic related. Makes stripped bolts my bitch. Almost forgot I bought it. It's called the Go 2 Socket.
B1 doin work!
lol why did you do that you ricer?
DB2, DC2, or DB8
Civic 8/10 reliability
damn that sounds like a bitch. Any progress/parts pics?
Speaking of work, B3 here, I finally got the job at the airport. Only thing I don't like is the long ass shifts. I also don't like how they said part time is less than 30 hours a week but they assigned me 30<hours<40 per week. They said it's "part time" because I have 3 days off. Not to mention I get out at 11:30pm and have school on one of the work days. Hopefully it pays off.
>Not to mention I get out at 11:30pm and have school on one of the work days
I meant I get out at 11:30pm and have school the following day. Fortunately I don't work on the days I have school. /blog
damn I need to sleep, too tired for this crap
Already have one of those. I needed it for a stripped tranny fill bolt. Also recommend it.
I'm doing mine tomorrow morning. >>14201965
Work it man.
Struggle now and it starts to get different. Not exactly easier but different for sure.
Unrelated. Spotted this first gen on my last day in Washington. Guy passing by asked if it ran. Told him it wasn't mine. I think he was confused by my interest in picture.
No progress pics, did have to drop subframe though I didn't finish the rest my mechanic did. I think he loosened off the bpipe to exhaust because it feels like it's vibrating now so I have to check that out
Damn idle is still bouncy but it's not as bad. That plug is definitely the right one unless this Civic-EG forum post is wrong (Blue/yellow-yellow/black).
I just unplugged it and my idle is much better. I think I might consider just deleting it. I'll work with it unplugged tonight at work and see how it goes.
Also my fan isn't on 24/7 anymore like with the old harness and it turns on when it needs to. Temps are perfect.
Yeah but I plugged another in and experienced no change. Maybe that ECU is messed up too. Might try a friend's out of his EJ or something. If something starts fucking up I'll plug the IACV back in. I know deleting them by putting a block off plate in its place is a thing with customized Hondas so I'll consider that. Can just get a long hose to keep the coolant flow.
Is it going to get reorganized into models/generations?
I'm wondering how repairable that is. that bottom piece under the lights can be swapped out, and the pannels can be beaten back, lights bolted back in again, and a new bumper.
>duct tape fender
I have no idea how to install the harness they came with but it works with stock. I'll post a pic of the harness. I think it's so both bulbs are on when I turn in high beams. Right now it's one or the other.
>Considering a 2012 Civic Si
How much will I regret purchasing a late model Civic?
Strongly, STRONGLY consider a 2013 Civic Si sedan.
The 2013 is better than the 2012 in little ways, plus the price isn't that far off a 2012 from what I see at the dealer's used lot. The sedan's chassis stiffness is greater than the coupe as well, I liked the rigidness of it when I drove the sedan.
You'd regret purchasing 2000-2009 Civics at this point. The 2010-2011 was okay and the 2012 is when they were quality enough for me to like. The exception there is the EP3.
Shit, you can replace the boot pan, the headlight mount/rear panel and the quarters from Honda. Granted those manufactured (if they even produce them anymore) would cost a fortune, but glorious welded unibody has its advantages when going to replace shit.
With a hammer and bondo, that would be more of a feat to repair.
God DAMN I love the look of these. You were right though JustaB18, the plastic was pretty fragile. Nothing too serious, though. Even Stanley OEM plastic was breaking on me. Can't wait until the sun sets so I can test these out.
these are the adjusters on a stock lamp housing bucket. not sure if the denjis have these exactly because of the housing buckets but there should be similar. also every bolt location has elongated holes for more adjustement even the corner bolt behind the bumper.
I looked for those on the Denji and they didn't have them. I did use those adjusters on my old ones though. I think there's just the top bolts on these and the one on the side toward the middle of the car. There were no threads on the outer side behind the bumper for some reason. Maybe a manufacturing error but the lights are on there pretty solid. No shaking at all with force.
I would like a sedan but have found way more coupes available than sedans.
Also looking at a TL-S but it has more miles on it and it's not a manual. We will probably be test driving it on Monday
Not a single older [5th or 6th gen] Civic here that is not a million miles old and/or riced to hell by mexicans, or I'd have another 5th gen Civic.
Any particular reason?
Actually there are some adjusters, two for each light. I'll see how they look tonight before I touch it.
just get them close then and say fuck it. I've never fooled with a set because people around here complain about the price of the 40$ ebay fog kit so there's no way they'd buy those. I'm putting a 12" led light bar in my bumper lol.
The 2013 was mainly a facelift, but from what I can tell the sound deadening is much better for one. Also, the suspension was readjusted as well. It's small changes, but noticeable at that. I considered one to build credit, but I think I'll go a cheaper way to do so.
That and all the stupid ass bluetooth and ipod shit. I want a tape deck dammit.
The Si at the least differed from 2012-2013. The 2012 Si sedan isn't bad.
As far as chassis stiffness, it doesn't matter too much, just going to be a DD/trip taker car that is also fun to throw around.
Any thoughts on the TL-S?
I'll see if I can look at both years and decide from there.
>can't get a 2016 MT honda fit made in Japan
>japan only imports the CVTs
The TL-S is good. I'd buy a 2012 Civic with lower miles than a TL-S though. The TSX is good too.
If only the 2012 MDX wasn't Acura badge taxed, I think they're quite well built.
I found a Mugen manifold for $1000~ AUD for my Prelude. Is it worth buying or will I not see much of a performance increase?
>Not wanting headlight adjusters
I'm really digging the TL but it will depend on the condition. The TL has like 73k on it, the orange Si has 31k IIRC.
Honestly I wish the CR-V did anything for me, it's just so...boring. I'd scoop up a Pilot but they are all overpriced.
Had vinguy run an autocheck on it and it looks like a single owner car
No it's auto unfortunately, but I can live with auto with a big sedan like that.
We Acura Civic now
Gotta take a look at my steering rack. It pops when I turn and skips.
At least the auto in the TL lasts for awhile. I hope it has A/C for your sake down in there
>Ass fused to leather
That looks good. Mine does the same thing, it has since I hit the curb.
Fuck replacing the Prelude rack sucked cock.
We will get seat covers regardless. I honestly hate leather and vinyl upholstery. Ht as fuck in summer and cold as fuck in winter.
I should mention they are asking $14k, which I may be able to talk down a bit. The main Civic I'm looking at is $17k
Leather that is more than 5-8 years old is usually shit and given that it's been in Texas most of it's life, the leather is probably botox'd itself. The average person probably does not hydrate it either.
Now I'm leaning towards the Civic again because of the price and mileage.
Yeah will just end up being an overall condition thing. No guarantee I'm buying either of them to be honest just wanted to get /hg/ [ok, you and verv] opinion on whether the newer gen Civics were shit.
I've heard good things about centric, stoptech, EBC, and hawk. I still need to do my front brakes, and I noticed that my tie rod ends were bad when I had the wheels of when I was taking the plastidip off so I bed to do those too. From what I've seen on the interwebs, slotted rotors don't do much. I'm just gonna get ten dollar rotors from rock auto and some good stoptech pads and maybe get new calipers too.
I personally think Honda has done very well with the new Civic commercial ahere the car drives out of the guy's head.
However, while the pic related Accord commercial seemed like a powerful message to me, the appeal was lost once they brought out an Accord.
G5 cd5 coupe checking in.
torque converter clutch solenoid is officialmente bad. she's in her death throes, boys. it might be time for an autotragic-to-manual conversion. maybe even a full powertrain swap.
anybody got thoughts? ideas? suggestions? i'd like to hold onto her, but is it really worth it?
/o/ maybe, I don't like ebay. Put money into good parts.
i want a hatch but cant decide if i want a vw gti or ep si.
what do you guys think about this car?
My dad has one that I learned to drive stick in, he's only had a problem with the clock, which is trivial since you can just put a new one in, and the transmission, which failed at 185k, but that was likely due to 4 different teenagers learning stick in it. It's at 216k right now, no problems.
Here's the pics of how great these headlights are.
-4 F / -22 C
Yeah fuck this. I took this picture at -8 in November of 2013, so I'm glad it waited to freeze this year.
Hovering at around -25 C here. Battery is dead and the front right caliper is leaking brake fluid. Summer can't come fast enough.
It looks like the sun is starting to set past 17:15. There is hope.
This is cold for me. Lol
Might go pick up that corded electric impact from Harbor Freight. It's cheap as fuck today.
I wish I could be that warm.
How many of u Honda guys r in Cali. So cal to be specific? I'm n the L.A area and don't know anyone who's into them. I have a 94 eg si. Will post a pic. It's all stock tho so pretty basic looking.
Here we think stock or mildly modified Hondas look best, or at for the most part. Off the top of my head I can't think of anyone thats in the LA area though, but I can't say for sure. Facebook groups can be hit or miss, but you might find one you like.
If it's dependant upon being in gear then it's a transmission problem, probably a bearing? I would think input shaft bearing but that tends to be heard at idle more than moving in gear
Anybody in Georgia wanna buy some excellent quality DA integra seats?
Only missing the drivers rails
Any gsr owners in here? How much should I offer this guy
considering an S2000 is it possible to DD this also any years good/bad?
It was 10 below this morning when I started my CR-V, but it fired up on the first crank.
The "BRAKE" light stayed on for a minute after I released the parking brake, which I thought was odd, but otherwise no issues.
>Starts at 90
>Jackets if it gets below 85
Listen here you shit, when it's 90 here I'm fucking dead. You bastards are your wonderful dry heat.
Lol I got mine in the trunk. That 32mm socket will save me from renting one from VatoZone for taking my axle out.
I'm at Baton Rouge right now watching a fighting game tournament. I don't know shit about the FGC.
First real snowfall of the winter and I had to drive a couple of hours in it. Was nice to have new tires.
Also. Yellow fog lights make all the snow look like peepee snow.
How about a quick game of "Name That Craigslist Abomination"?
Hint: It's obviously a honda
Find a manual TL-S. Or even a manual base TL. Brembos, LSD, comfy safe and fast as fuck. you already see its prettier than anything the civic can produce
>obvious disdain for civics
Nope, TL-S is just objectively superior in aesthetics and performance. Plus torque
>scrap yard wont take any of the pieces of the car because I don't have the title
Fug, now I have the chopped up pieces of and entire car in my garage. I started cutting them into smaller pieces to be able to shove in the trash can. It's gonna take a while to smuggle the whole car out thru the city trash collector though.
Verv, what are your build plans for the D16A1? I am about to start buying pieces to rebuild the blue cars engine and would like a few extra HP. What parts should I look for?
Ebay is good for alot of things. But buying cheap ebay coilover is a bad idea. If your just replacing a broken stock part its great. But the unbranded honda coilovers are godawful even if they dont break a few months after you put them on.
I have one. It works great for everything except for your crank bolt. I had to get the insert tool and use a breaker bar plus the handle for my jack to extend it out to 5 ft to get mine off.
The only thing I like about Ground Control is the warranty. The same thing goes for Konis.
There are better sleeves than Ground Controls though.
I bought a set of ZC cams, but I think I am just gona regrind the stock ones. I have heard Delta, Colt, and Web are good brands. Also I am gona order the domed 88-89 pistons with the rebuild kit.
>Domed 88-89 pistons
That's another good one. There is something about swapping oil and water pumps too with the black tops, I don't remember what that was all about. Probably more teeth, but then you'd need a larger timing belt.
I'll check Redpepper after work and see if I'm thinking of the right thing. The more teeth the better.
This other Civic always parking next to me. Probably just because it's a convenient spot, though.
My brother bought a TL a couple of days ago. I hope it improved from generation to generation because it was slushy.
Except it's not better for performance, best motoring has several videos comparing them, tls is heavy, it performs well against similar mid level luxary sedans but any type r eats it
I'll be doing a Blacktop, with OBD1 jumper and OBD1 ZC dist, after that maybe ITB and a cam.
I'd like to get crazy with it, but I really only want about ~140WHP; I'd rather build up a more comfortable car*. the thing I want the most out of the swap is beefier transmission, LSD, and equal length shafts.
>*Which could be a ton of not Honda/Acura cars, though a CB9 would be fun to build with the F22a
It's probably a blender or maybe patio furniture now.
Ight. Converted the rack and pinion to a manual rack, and completely removed all of the power steering components from the car. I also tighten the tensinor bolt to tight and this bitch is heavy. Also intake manifold is all caked up, idk. Should I take it off clean it or install a H-23 intake manifold??
I think I have to replace the one on the Integra too.
The Prelude rack didn't take that long, but it sucked. I wish I would have taken pictures of when I got it, shit was fucked.
What a shit night, some one backed into me in the Walmart parking lot and then I slid on black ice going 20 kmh and hit a Mercedes benz
Like fuck give me a break, I was going so slow and cautious through the intersection but there was so much ice build up
You're a shit driver then, that much damage means you were going way too fast and lost control.
>muh black ice
>not muh fault
The only black ice involved was hanging from your mirror you dipshit faggot.
Considering I was travelling at 12kmh and have the obd2 data to record it I'd say you're a retard
I don't know what to think of this. I think it's ladder frame and FWD still. It does come in AWD, but I don't like the idea of a potentially 70/30 AWD truck. Come on Honda, why do you continue this shit.
It's a Pilot with a bed.
New guy here, did you completely redo the interior on your teg? Also, would you happen to know where the front jack point for the car is? I can't seem to find it online for the 2nd gen specifically. Bumping with my car.
Oh shit another DA driver. This is my interior, I'd love to completely redo it since my Integra has a grade-A history to it.
Front jack point is the scissor jack stud right in the front right behind the mudflap. There are directions on the jack itself or on 2GIC. Never use the unibody rails, they're like butter.
From the looks of it, you bought the best DA9, the 1990-1991 RS. Also, looks like you have no rust or noticeable body work. 11/10
Attempt #20 at the captcha. I'll try as anon
I see those stainless spouts too, you lucky bastard those are so hard to find stock now.
Fucking shock: captcha is broken.
That what it feels like. I know a few months ago I was whipping the wheel around hard in a dead end street and it made that loud pop when I had the wheel all the way in one direction. I think I'll just replace the whole thing.
Hell at the rate I'm going I'll have everything new except the engine. lol
Shit I feel you there. I found more rust on my Integra yesterday that I've seen, but not seen. My rear bumper at the driver's side mount has always stuck out and I never new why until I saw the huge patch of cancer.
I plan on dumping money into this thing to make it semi-restored and that shit adds up. If the lotto numbers I got from fortune cookies were right, I'll have Honda restore it to the last bolt, but with VTEC lmao
Does anyone have a Type R EK9?
I've been so in love with these cars, mostly how they look, but how well do they run? I honestly want to buy one whenever my Prelude dies on me. I'd make mine look like pic related. Black with white rims on these cars just get me so hard.
Luckily I have no regrets for getting the car. Yeah I have to replace things but it's just a joy to drive and I make my money back on it quick since Pizza Hut literally pays me to drive it. It helps that I have a GOAT uncle that is always willing to help out. I saved hundreds on that clutch replacement.
I honestly don't think mines needs that much.
>fix rear driver wheel
Seriously considering buying this with my tax money. I worked an average of 33ish hours all last year every single week so my tax return should easily cover it. I still got those bottles of trans fluid I bought too.
>dem Mugen RNRs
I'd consider that to be one of the best hatchbacks of its time. I'd personally love to have an EG6 SiR-II. I'll just clone it. ;_;
Is it even possible to find these cars for sale anywhere???
If so, do you know how much they might be? I would literally kill a man if it meant I could have one.
Like, KILL a man. Brutally.
Thanks for the praise man, you(and myself) will have to thank my neighbors though, they gave this to my mom as a gift, and she pretty much gave it to me. Belonged to a very nice Korean family that took amazing care of the car, and it's so much fun to drive. I just want to get it as close to showroom status as possible. I've read about the front behind-the-wheelwell jack points but I know the 1st and 3rd gen tegs have a jackpoint underneath the front of the car, and I was wondering if the 2nd gen has one as well. Your Integra looks *clean* by the way, really loving the look.
More snow. More fun hooning around.
What should my next car be, fâm? Probably gonna be buying in spring or so.
back in the early fall I put my winter tires on.
back in spring time I had my new tires and wheels mounted
140WHP is good for 1500 lbs.
Post more pics if you like, it's cleaner than mine as it sits. The second gen does have a jack point in the way front, it is the front subframe brace (I cannot think of the name to save my life right now lol). Pic related.
Not that it matters from the looks of your location, but (if you even have them) do your rear defrost and int wipers work?
Could try tarbo on the browntop, but tuning might blow.
Anyone know what in the living fuck this white shit is? It's on all of my interior lol
Thanks! I thought that was the place to jack it up from but I didn't want to go off a feeling and mess my car up. And the defroster does work, which is handy since LA is actually getting cold now and the windows fog up like no tomorrow. If you mean the back wiper, that works too, which I also found handy these past few weeks with all the rain we got. I plan on taking more pics soon but for now that's the only one I have. I'll hopefully be swapping the brakes and brake fluid out this weekend so if I do I'll post pics.
Ey boys, I'm still here. My new years resolution is to finally fucking do something to my car.
Any recommendations for a not too expensive/difficult upgrade? For now I'm looking at new headlights.
Doubting between black JDM or Angel eye headlights.
I have a CG trans from a d16a1 sitting next to me on the floor I am using it for my d16y8 turbo project in my ej8. The b16 obx lsd v.3 fits like a glove in it.
just swap the disy to a TD-43U and pop in Chipped P06 ECU its not simple but not that hard.
also my old CD5 turbo f22 block h23 head
>My name is Corey! I live in Miami Florida and drive a white fifth generation Honda Prelude SH! You'll know it's me because you'll hear the hum of my swapped engine, a JDM blue top DOHC VTEC H23 engine found in jdm Accord sir wagon! It's just as good as the h22 it replaced
>I'm also on dc2 coils and a tuned ecu!
>My spoiler was stolen so my trunk is a bit rusted
>If you see me, say Hi!
>Op pic I'd a stock image of my car!
>Prelude POWER !
>when trip fag shitposters reveal too much over
Lol no, they can make way more, I'll just be tuning mine to around 140, I don't need a street racer, just lookin for some more solid handling and a bit more power.
Maybe look for a f22a4, or f22a6 exhaust, and run an a6 ECU
Eh, there's not many aftermarket parts, but you can still do a lot to it for cheap, just not many bolt ons.
I'd recommend doing a rebuild on it before installing it.
Who /race/ here?
I want to get into track racing. If anyone here in /hg/ has experience autocrossing or maybe even rallying their honda I'd love to get some advice from you.
I currently own a 1993 prelude with an h22a1. I've never been a fan of fwd or hondas but I like this car. Is it worthwhile for me to use a prelude as a platform to build off of or am I crazy? I'm talking about suspension, brakes, engine rebuild, possibly a turbo if I decide to go down that road. Am I silly for wanting to build a FF honda or should I buy a miata, 240sx, foxbody, or a civic hatch to track like other people do.
ive been debating a short shifter, aftermarket lights on hondas always look ricy imo but if you dont care what you look like and what somthing brighter...
Picture of my FA5 with the FD2 conversion [legit FD2 trunk and lights] and Spoon Monoblock calipers. Had Hondata and a couple other things to it. Ended up totaling it in a single vehicle accident. I still miss that car.
Get the black JDM lights and a short throw shifter
Not much to look at, but my final picture of this thing. Not going to whore it out on 4chan. A picture of the heart of this beast. Loved revving to 8600rpm with Hondata.
I know that feel for sure. I had a jeep that I totaled and I still miss it. It's crazy how that engine is pushed all the way back under the windshield though, makes me wonder how hard it is to change the spark plugs and everything else. Looks like an oil change might be difficult as well. Did you stay loyal to Honda or did you get something else?
It's not bad. You need to take the window cowl off which is only 4 clips. The oil change is a pain in the ass, but only because of the filter placement by Honda. I ended up getting a 2011 MK6 GTI. Already got big plans for it.
I don't think there is a saving grace to altezzas on an EF. If only they made some like http://www.ebay.com/itm/1990-1993-Acura-Integra-DA-B18-GSR-VTEC-JDM-Red-Clear-Rear-Brake-Lamp-Tail-Light-/191185631042?fits=Model%3AIntegra&hash=item2c838d3742:g:y5cAAOSwhcJWKFXq&vxp=mtr
I toyed with the idea of buying these for awhile since they're not bad.
I won't use the center garnish but i've seen a few of them coming out real good on Miatas. Same concept right. These are altezzas tinted.
Stock lights and garnish but the left one is cracked. I can get a used one but I wanted to buy cheapo ebay lights so I could try tinting them with actual clear coat
I've only done two autox and the rest are track days with one 2L race day
I don't see alot of 240s mostly because the amount of performance you need to get past some cars stock is $$$$. 240s with a ka24 are slow unless boosted and then there slightly faster than a gt86.
I see alot egs with k20s and k24s haulin ass. Only seen one lude though but that's 4th Gen right? It handles really well isn't a pig and h22 is mad decent. I see a lot of miatas, never stock either and they do very well on the track and fun to drive.
Up to you man, everyone I've taken for a ride loves it and I got plenty of plans for it still
fucking casual, I bet you plastidip your rims and trims black too fucking faggot
I used to have a chart for it, but it.
The A1 has a 4-1 cast, and the A4/6 have a 4-2-1 (A4 I believe is cast, and A6 is tubular)
Mitsu 4G6x exhausts should fit too, and probably have better performance options.
I really want to pick up a F22a
look here buddy I woudln't mind them tinted red but tinting/smoking them gets me triggered. Most of the time it's never even and from far away it looks like they don't have their lights on.
I C what U mean senpai
Bake it and paint the chrome black. That would look pretty good sorry for the misunderstanding
From what I've read yea, a 4G63 exhaust, or either a4/a6 (Now that I've looked it up, I had it backwards, A4 is tubular, A6 is cast. A6 is considered the easier one to find.)
And while you're at it, the A6 cam, and ECU.
>Plus the H23a intake, plenum, TB, and vacuum box
Could plunder those all easily for a few hundred at a junkyard, and get a good 20-25HP
been a while since I took pics of it
And another package. These are much higher quality than the amber ones I bought. Paid like twice as much.
yes sir I shot peened the casing, re-stacked the washers the correct way, added my own helper spring, replaced the bolts with grade 10 hardware still cheaper than any other LSD option.
Purely cosmetic damage, I found a Japanese ep2 bumper that's mint condition going to pick up on Saturday and need to find a fender but the only thing I can find is fenders from the UK on eBay and shipping is insane.
