>mfw there are people on this board that unironically believe that 2WD is better that AWD
I kind of wish my explorer was RWD, its AWD and plenty pigfat because of it. I dont need AWD ever really.
It does have a LSD rear that I rebuilt recently and I believe most RWD ones had it as well so that would suffice for me.
AWD/4x4 is better in trucks, SUVs, and other non performance shit cars.
AWD is shit in performance cars that are not super cars
all AWD adds is fucking oversteer to a vehicle that normal would understeer.
I own a 2.5 RS with a blown coupler, welded that fucker in for now. RWD subaru is best subaro. so much fun
fuck off. I had it AWD for years.
converting the 2.5 to RWD is so much fucking fun, I dont think I'll ever fix the coupler.
also, read what I fucking said earlier.
>AWD is shit in performance cars that are not super cars
>>Hellcat Challenger (707):RWD
Shred tires like a motherfucker, break traction whenever they feel like it. Fun, but not very fast around a track.
Fuckhuge tires. Literally the only way to tame that much power.
>mfw this ff and fr shitposting has became cut vs uncut /b/ tier memeing
AWD is best over 400hp, where the cars tends to be traction-limited (e.g. Compare the Porsche 911 "S" vs "4S" - identical in every way except AWD, and AWD posts the better track times), but drivetrain loses and weight penalize AWD under 300hp (e.g. Compare the BMW 328i vs 328xi - identical in every way except AWD, and RWD posts the better times.)
>tfw you will never own a mid engine AWD car with a 40:60 split
I have similar thoughts whenever I see a "prerunner". 4×4 or GTFO.
