Are all Brits completely oblivious of the fact that Vauxhall don't actually produce a single car?
what a stupid thread. ive never met anyone who thinks a vauxhall is anything but a rebadged opel and doesnt understamd they are just a GM marque.
still they are still put together in the UK, at least some of them.
>Are all Brits completely oblivious of the fact that Vauxhall don't actually produce a single car?
OP said 'produced' not designed or engineered
all astras are 'produced' in england or poland
>exploiting semantics because it's all you have
'Production' implies more than simple assembly but it's not like anyone cares because OPs point remains- Vauxhall simply assembles another company's cars.
>opel designs and assembles cars another company's cars
What are you smoking nignog when did OPEL stop engineering their own cars? I didnt know OPEL stopped engineering their own cars and simply assemble GM engineering (apparently) when the FUCK did that happen? Who's got the fucking crack pipe?
It's simple as fuck.
If Opel releases a somewhat attractive car, Burgers will claim it's actually a car designed and produced by GM and Britbongs will claim it's a pure Vauxhall car.
If Opel fucks up somewhere both will scream "hurr, muh Germon "reliability".
It has always been like that and to be honest, it's not only the case with cars.
