The old oil is broken down. You're gonna want to run some 10w30 and a whole can of seafoam in there for ~25 miles to clean it out. Otherwise the old gummy oil might screw something up. After that flush that out and put in atf again.

When you buy a lot that had a shop or junkyard on it, you usually have to excavate about 18ft of contaminated soil and dispose of it as hazardous waste.
