Probably yes, but would go against the principles of the Viper. The viper had only the bare minimum. It would be like having a TVR with an automatic tranny and all kind of technologies.

And yes, sadly the viper is discontinued in 2017. It has been a thorn in FCA's side for too long, and it started challenging the V12 ferraris in performance, so they probably whined about it like they always do. Also I heard that the car in general didn't sell so well, but I'm not that sure.

That's not strictly an American car though. It was designed and sold in Europe as an Opel and Vauxhall from 1984 onwards, then in South Korea as a Daewoo from 1986 onwards and only in 1988 did they start to ship it to the US and badge it as a Pontiac. Also even in native Europe it had a terrible reputation.

I'm all for shitposting terrible American cars, but it's double as fun when they're real American garbage.

The process is not only long, but actually impossible unless you have a degree and get a job offer, find someone to marry or utterly luck out on the lottery. And degrees aren't nearly as much of a thing in Europe than in the US, here in Germany we have a tiered school system and half the school graduates aren't even eligible to study. You can find a perfectly normal job if you go to occupational school instead of college, but it's not eligible for work visas to the US.

The supercar of the decade.

When everyone else is weighing their cars down with heavy hybrid systems and ~1000 horses of unusable power, Ford's gone completely the other direction, designed the lightest car with the smallest envelope possible. It's basically the Lotus philosophy applied to a full-scale enclosed supercar. That it's so incredibly looking is just icing on the cake.

If I had millions to burn, I'd definitely take one over a LaFerrari, P1, etc.

The fact that it is not a hybrid is my favorite thing about it. It also has less fuel consumption. If it has good mileage for a super car it will be a huge success. I hope it will result in Ford designing sport and saloon cars with the same aesthetic and design principles.
