The Kremlin probably carried out the murder of Alexander Litvinenko on British soil according to an inquiry released today.
Russian lawmakers (including one of the suspects wanted for the murder, Andrei Lugovoi) called the charges "absurd" and a political provocation.
The inquiry was carried out by a British judge with the mandate of the Parliament, and included new evidence. Russia's ambassador was summoned to the Foreign Office and the two suspects (including the Duma member) are being demanded.
All the guy did was call Putin a pedo. If the kiddy piddeling manlet thinks this is appropriate or equivocal to killing daesh then he can't be trusted to behave rationally or honor bargains.
Absolutely it's news. Russia is teetering on waking up to Swan Lake again. The failings of its neopatrimonal dictator is the most significant story on the board.
In that vein, I'll add some more fuel to the kremlin's fire, (current stories, BTW)
The ballet was continuously looped on all TV and radio stations durning the 90s failed KGB coup attempt. The reference is a bit esoteric, but the story and the idea made such an impression on me.
Quit blaming the victim. UK is a sovereign nation, and Russian violated her territorial integrity. Only a clueless idiot answers accusations of rape with swaggering and threats of murder.
The people who tried to carry out the coup half-assed it in ever possible way. They looped the ballet, and then allowed stations to show Yeltsin's speech later on. It's as if they were trying to lose.
