If you missed it, last night B.O.B. released 'Flatline', a diss track against Neil DeGrasse Tyson, the fact that the Earth is round, and the astronomical model of Heliocentrism
So, of course, today, Tyson released his own response track, 'Flat to Fact', because that's the kind of shit that happens now
To recap, a mediocre, has-been rapper and Seth MacFarlene's favorite science man are fighting a rap battle on twitter over whether or not the Earth is flat
This is the most brilliant thing BOB has done.
Fuck Neil, he is a piece of shit twitter scientist. He is so fucking annoying. Its even better because BOB is a has been rapper who is just baiting this shmuck
Reminder that Neil cannot into satire
No matter how stupid B.o.B. might be I think he wins this round, Tyson has been coming off as an all-too-serious schmuck in this """"feud"""" and this song is cringe after cringe
Man this shit is EPIC. NEIL CAME THO
My favorite rapper right now. Neil DeGrasse
Kill yourself, Neil is one of most important science promoters of the world. Hes important>>62044526
Dude, he's like one of those guys in the mall who flies around a little quadcopter but then it gets way too close to your gf's hair and gets tangled up in it so then you try to fight the quadcopter bitch but security pushes you apart and kicks you out so you have to wait for your gf to get the quadcopter propellor cut out of her hair and she's crying and shit BUTTTT you realize that her bone structure works perfectly with a pixie cut that she still rocks to this day, 3 years later. SEXY, mm-mm-mMM!
NEIL FUCKING FAG
He's like what you get when you cross a layman with a day trader: faggy ass pathetic old Black reddit loving shitstain on science.
Read about the Belray Surge, ass (if you can find any info, hehehe)...
You cant say that about Tyson, Tyson is gonna be remembered as a great scientist. I understand being from /pol/ and all you're taught to hate niggers but thats not actually how the world works.
sorry for spewing hate facts.
i'll shut up just for you.
I have a friend who's a history major, and he once said that it's actually a large misconception that people used to think that the world was flat, at least not for a very long time. He showed me some very old medieval drawings of what people thought the world looked like, and all of the drawings showed a curve in the Earth's shape.
This wikipedia article ought to explain it better than I.
Yeah it was basically a bunch of people in ivory towers deciding what views of the world would be written down (and recovered as historical reference) while everyone else just kind of disregarded them. Until they were captured and tortured for their heresy at least.
Point being that if you tried to determine our current views of the worlds by asking our politicians and oligarchs you'd get something similarly retarded and out of touch with reality.
