It's a funeral march, and then the flute or piccolo or whatever comes in and adds a little hope to the song. One of the better composed songs on the album.
Bitter and Then Some
The transition into the end of the song? Fuuuuck me, dude
Compliments, perfect closer, makes me like the tracklisting on the U.S version more than the UK version
Yes! And coming off of Fancy Clown, a song where Viktor Vaughn loses his girl to MF DOOM, it makes sense. It's from her point of view now. Or atleast it's what I interpet from it.
I don't think so. I Want Wind to Blow, You'll Be in the Air, The Moon, Samurai Sword, and I'll Not Contain you seem to all be talked about more. Although you're still right, it's not really underrated.
A song for the dead
The sky is fallin
Do it again
God is in the radio
Sing of me, I'm dying of thirst, which is probably my Favorite Kendrick song
The synthetic feel of the song is just so incredible warm and comfy. Feels like tucking yourself into a blanket, while the song isn't totally happy, at least the instruments feel that way. Like happy melancholic.
The Man of Metropolis Steals Our Hearts
Best song imo
That entire album is god tier.
So is Lullabies To Paralyze
I've loved this record for years and didn't realize until last summer how much I love this song
the descending guitar line after the intro is gold. also killer bass part, obv
i would've said shell of light or raver, but i can fuck with this
i feel like the big gloom and hunter get way less love than they should
