Rec, rate and discuss music. Do whatever, you know the deal.

Sleater-Kinney - The Woods
Here's my current top 100. Sorry about the repetition of artists.
This chart thread has great taste. Seeing lots of Talking Heads and AnCo, nice.
Yea I already like Squirrel Bait a lot but I can't find anywhere to download them, I like Japan too and the guys solo work, never heard of Bitch Magnet, I'll check them out always a pleasure Anon :)
btw I would give you recs but I'm not very familiar with the stuff on your chart :(
give me a rec and a rate and i'll let you lick my pink
I like Newsun a lot as well, but I feel like it drags a bit near the end and on the opening track. Also, I feel like the record lacks the sheer creative energy and emotional freedom that Super ae has. I just feel like Super ae is the perfect mix of crazy, experimental punk Boredoms and focused, psychedelic/ krautrock Boredoms. Super Going, Super Are You, and Super Shine are great examples of this.
They're both great, though. Awesome group.
Gimme the works pls, I'll help ya out if I can but I'm what they call a plebian
initial impression of that Soundchambers album was sorta that it went nowhere, but i might listen to it again later

Herbie Hancock - Mwandishi
Les McCann - Invitation to Openness
Donald Byrd - Ethiopian Knights
Embryo - Rocksession
ever heard of Dance & Destroy? You'll dig. It features Sean Decker
Black Eyes may be up your alley
Yage - Lange Lügenbeine
Reversal of Man
You have probably heard of all of these
Not Dance and Destroy. I'll check them out. The rest I have heard of. But I don't think I've heard enough Yage to make a complete appraisal.
Jacob from Black Eyes used to play in an awesome band called (the last) thirty seconds (of) with Matt Safer of the Rapture. They played extended hardcore jams ala The Stooges or early Fucked Up. They had a horn section. They fucking slayed. But they never recorded anything. I think because Matt moved to NY to play with the Rapture.
But I didn't like Black Eyes as much.
Thanks, I've listened to From Her To Eternity, my favourite by Nick Cave, and I am yet to listen to Sunshine Has Blown, I'll probably give it a listen tonight.
Thanks dude, I'll give it a listen
Ipswich - Baby Factory
The United States of America - S/t
I really don't know what to rec you sorry
Listening to Schulze - X. It sounds EXACTLY like Tangerine Dream. How many groups/people were doing this exact thing? Anyway, it's nice. Spacey and warm.
You're kind of off my map. A bit of a shit in the dark, but maybe you'll like Fish and Roses - We Are Happy To Serve You.
loved Rapture, the other band you are talking about sounds amazing, how did you hear about them if they never recorded anything?
Jacob also played in Amalgamation who are infamous for releasing a split with Jeromes Dream who I absolutely adore
Nah, I have not heard a single modern screamo band that I've liked and I've completely given up. I drew the line at City of Caterpillar. I either suffer from nostalgia disease or I have really high standards.
I listened to them once and thought they sounded like the Dillinger Escape Plan of screamo: too much going on, not enough to hold onto.
I do like Ampere. But once you've heard one of their albums you've heard them all.
I guess that controlled chaos is what I like about Off Minor, that and their bassist and drummer amaze me. How about Gospel? I don't really like the DEP at all but i can see where you are coming from. I adore Ampere but that is kind of true.
talk aboutta great taste
bunkbed - nothing ever lasts
non-prophets - hope
black eyes is fucking great
check out this heat and the pop group
you are such an interesting personality just form your chart
do you like to surf? i mean, i would assume so
I've heard them and didn't like them, but can't remember why. Guess I'll go listen again.
Someone showed me Lord Snow. They were alright. Kind of like a cross between Harriet the Spy and Assfactor 4.
Would you be interested in the 90's hc/post-hc charts I've made? You probably know most of the bands, but there may be some you don't. You may have also seen them posted in some of the emo threads lately....
...God, those threads are terrible.
>this heat and the pop group
like both of those, Pop Group didn't stick with me as much but I enjoyed their 2015 release.
You should check out Dirty Three and Sunny Day Real Estate
Ehh, there was a whole movement in Germany around the 70s making ambient stuff. Klaus Schulze was a part of Tangerine Dream too. Thanks for the rec
What is weird shit?
Skullflower - IIIrd Gatekeeper
Pretty nice chart, a lot of my all time favourites on here
Hymie's Basement - S/t
Morita Douji - A Boy
Isn't even terrible dude
Robert Wyatt - Rock Bottom
Beat Happening - You Turn Me On
It was a masterpiece of post-irony. It completely eclipsed the degree to which something like vaporwave is conscious of nostalgia and its own context in American consumer culture.
And the cover is fucking beautiful.
anyone rec me some artists/albums/tracks like this track? its more futuristic than my entire chart
have you listened to NEVERLAND SOUNDGIRLS by kitcaliber?
hey thanks i like ur taste 2
lots of albums on there that I like or imagine I will like if i ever get around to hearing them
5/10 not a bad chart
