God tier hiphop/rap albums
i like mobb deep but i find they get a bit boring to listen to after a few songs.
Im not saying its god-tier... Im just saying, its really fucking good
also posting favorite hip hop album of all time
unlike this guy I'm actually saying Barter 6 is god-tier
Why do you think its trash?
Love this album
>also pic related is drakes best work
unlike Barter 6 Old Boots New Dirt actually IS god-tier
guy who posted shyne 2 here. I said in the last thread that 06 had some bangers on it but just too many mediocre songs.
nice awful opinion.
your comment was really unnecessary. your hip hop isnt better, its just the style that you prefer. this thread is actually doing pretty well, and I haven't contributed even once so thats saying something.
Actual literal ten out of ten.
>inn4 mac miller used to suck i realize this
>inb4 hes white i realize this also, it changes nothing
I love all of these albums so dont say i have shit taste. Seriously check out this mixtape if you havent heard it.
Mac Miller - America (off the same mixtape)
Why not add another classic off macadelic
Thoughts From a Balcony
Please listen to the whole tracks before deciding what you think.
For those of you haven't heard Euroz's Memories of the Future, listen to this shit asap
i used to have it on casette. actually a pretty interesting story if anybody cares
>be 13 in grade eight
>every once in a while school lets us go out on the town unsupervised for lunch
>me and a friend of mine were collecting cassettes at the time
>go to weird novelty/comic book/retro store
>big weird ugly bald guy working
>ask him if they sell cassette tapes
>tells us no
>about to leave
>tells us to wait
>"you guys want to hear some real fucked up shit?"
>takes out two cassettes from his pocket, one being doctor octagon
>tells us we can have his personal tapes for free
>tells us to enjoy
i remember going home and listening to it on my walkman secretly because i knew my parents wouldnt let me listen to it. Lost it anyways though, really wish i could remember what that other tape was too.
yw it was 1994 when it came out
along with 36 chambers (also posted in this thread) it's my favorite underground hip hop
weird these underground albums are showing up in this thread about god tier hip hop albums right
FOLLOW THE LIGHT, THE LIGHT IS YOUR GUIDE
DO DO DO DO DO THAT'S AN AUDIO DAILY DOUBLE
yeah i didn't think to download when i first saw it
wouldn't call this god tier but i enjoyed it.
>just dropped this month
>tfw you get caught bumping gangsta rap while being a pale scrawny autist
literal fucking gold
GOAT instrumental hip hop album along with Donuts
Listened to this for the first time the other day, loved it. Are any of his other albums worth checking out?, I heard the others weren't all that good.
>weird these underground albums are showing up in this thread
Illmatic and 36 chambers are far from underground rap. Illmatic is one of the most celebrated hip hop albums of all time, and 36 chambers is one of the most defining albums to come out of the new york scene. They're both platinum albums in sales.
Brush up on what qualifies as underground hiphop.
>implying hip hop and rap are exchangeable
I bet you also believe there's no difference between movies and films.
Might be the best Dutch Hip-Hop album of all time
It's not GOAT, but it's a fun album.
Don't Believe the Hype
>nobody's posted pic related
>you people call yourselves /mu/
EVERYTHING ELSE IS LAUGHABLE AND SHOWS YOUR PLEBIAN TASTE FOR REGURGITATED BULLSHIT MY NIGGAS
This has to be one of the best hip hop album of the 90's
Forgot which board I'm in. Is this artwork better, faggot?
thoughts on this
For Free is seriously underrated, I wish he did more songs like that. Possibly the best flow/lyrics i've heard from him. It's a shame people dismiss it as a meme because of "THIS DICK"
no, that shit sucks too. at least it doesn't look like it was designed for a $14 walmart shirt though. kys my man
Got some that haven't been listed
Kinda weak, the new cartoon skits undermine what was good about DOOM's skits, and only about half the beats are any good. even DOOM admits he did it for the cash. Some of the tracks are really good though
Would've been better if MF GRIMM were on it more
Favorite song on the album
The intro with that clean jazz turning so dirty and her voice ranting over it gets me so hyped while biking
Do you have any other artists/albums/songs with sound specifically like the sound found in for free?
these are the only albums that belong in this thread. game changing works.
these are all overrated af or just not belonging of a god tier position in hip hop
>Not elder God tier
>Posts fucking Kendrick
Just stop posting all time
>I like actual good hip hop not overrated unlyrical hypebeasy garbage
Holy shit you kind of people should kill yourselves. I don't have a reaction image to express how much of a faggot you are.
Not a game changer, but really fucking good nonetheless
>Black On Both Sides
>not belonging of a god tier position in hip hop
Holy fuck aren't you an edgy fedora. I might agree with Illmatic and The Chronic being overrated because they're seen in a divine light by people who haven't even listened to them all the way through - but to call them "not belonging" when it comes to the best albums in hip hop is totally fucking asinine. Good job, you were a fucking idiot today.
Since /mu/ is too pleb to know of Smif-n-Wessun. The production is awesome as well, Da Beatminerz are criminally underrated.
Ran Reed – Respect The Architect 1992-1998
>using a random member of the jury in MaM as a meme
S.U.N - 'School of Thought' 2000
or 'Shining Underground' 1998
Don't mind me, just being the best Wu album.
