babysoul is the visual center
Normal person on the street, she'd be attractive. It's also refreshing that she's not exactly within the confines of a few allowable personality types that you commonly see among idols.
The thing is, though, she is surrounded by generally very attractive women who take the spot light. She isn't ugly, just doesn't stand out. Most of them also have uncommon personalities for the industry. Also, in the beginning she was trying a little too hard to be loud and a little obnoxious. Maybe it was a response to nervousness as it's died down a lot, but it was an offputting first impression.
I look forward to see how she grows in the group. They aren't even six months old
tfw you train 10 years just to become the one member everyone bashes
Lovelyz can bring about the fabled great unification.
this is what pearls before swine means
>Lovelyz doing something other than being nugus
if i was a girl group trainee i'd try to make sure at least one girl uglier than me got to debut too, just to make sure I don't become "the hyoyeon"
even if a group has only one 9/10 among 10/10s they still get trashed as the ugliest girl in the world
we should stream white: melody of the curse sometime...
>be first member and leader
>every other member is prettier than you
this is way prettier than jimin
>omo, oppa, that bulge between your legs... are you happy to see me?
that's how me and my wife are too. pic related it's my wife
sometimes she and i go around stealing cardboard cutouts of her for laughs
i don't blame you. if i weren't married to seulgi and saw somebody i posted with was, i'd have to close the thread and cry into my pillow too
Every fucking time. Why am I so based?
t. Zoomed face chingu
cause you're a good girl and you know it
you act so different around me
What is the kpop equivalent of Captain Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica?
What happened to the other half of Park Jimin's duo?
>it looks like he's coming to... now what should we do with him?
i'd prefer a new laptop but i just need to buy a cable for my external monitor and i'm all set. i just watched seolhyun's one minute long skt ad btw, looking good
Doesn't Seolhyun have the most interesting instagram videos
I was about to post
is Krystal the Shiina Ringo of kpop but then I realized how pretentious that sounded so...
is f(x) the Perfume of kpop?
yeah i hope the stylist keep this momentum
AOA's new unit will be
Mina, Chanmi, Seolhyun
The C stands for clusterfuck
What did Lemmy or Bowie's death have to do with music? Oh right, it's only OK to talk about the individuals who perform the songs if they aren't Korean.
Keep trying to put all the world's music into a western box, faggot. Hope it works out for you.
actually being upset over anyones death or feeling sad because of them is dumb
its normal to be sad for yourself, for the fact the you wont be able to enjoy their company anymore and because the person who died wont be there to entertain you anymore, but not really sad for them
why is Chanmi so cute?
>tfw no apink gameboy game
I'm sorry but that's the truth and I wouldn't have it any other way
So I finally sat down and listened to 4 walls (the single at least).
The song itself isn't bad, although it seems like it was trying to rehash some old 90's track a producer found on a midi disc in the back of a storage closet. But they absolutely fucked the video and stage concept. You can't pair a somewhat subdued song that is going to need help to draw people in with boring visuals.
I think practically, that seems to make sense on the surface, and we'd all feel less pain that way. but as this anon says >>61957918 it's not really a choice if you're a human being with empathy.
Probably because they got shit from censors/whoever makes those choices and had to change the dance after a week.
But they centered the entire stage performance around those sexual elements and had straight jack shit to look at after it was removed.
So two options: 1) Self censorship in a worry that they're on the radar and maybe there's some associated penalty if you get officially censored in consecutive releases; or 2) self censorship because they realized they can't rely on something they can be forced to remove.

tfw no chairfu
...I'm talking about what happened with vibrato
They started doing either the "cute" version or just a very tame version on TV shortly after comeback because they couldn't get away with it on stage anymore. Of course they did it at concerts still, but that's different. Miley Cyrus wears a fucking strapon at concerts, that shit is a different game
i don't buy your explanation, i don't think it has anything to do with censors. like i was saying, they would've been warned months in advance during Marionette promotions not to do it during Vibrato.
i'm sure there were, i just don't think that was the case with Stellar
if the shows saw what they did during Marionette, and let them continue on their merry way, I don't see them giving a shit during Vibrato. Marionette was much skimpier/sexual.
Marionette = strike 1; unchanged because sexual but not overtly obscene and easily argued that it's no more sexual than most kpop performances. In Korea, skimpy outfits on stage aren't that alarming
Vibrato= Strike 2; literally humping the ground, now known as a group openly pursuing overt sexuality and are being watched for it. Forced to change the choreography after debut
(I don't even care what this one is called)= Clearly on the fucking radar so they don't want to stir up shit and spend time/money/resources on scrambling for a new choreo again. Also maybe don't want to be associated with c-tier slut groups that just wear skimpy shit and show tits.
I don't see where you are dropping the connection. Slut pop sells but it's a delicate balance, go over the edge and it costs you. So they're pulling back and trying something else
