Why are people saying HES028 confirmed? 028 and 029 were confirmed long ago. One of them has Bruce - Petal Pluck on it
Wew yourself you fucking peanut it's ridiculous to advise someone to 'start at the classics' and then 'build up to advanced bleeps'. You don't have to like Derrick May to appreciate to Rrose.
please help compile this list /bleep/
OFFICIAL 2016 ESSENTIAL MEME-HOUSE AKA LO-FI HOUSE AKA OUTSIDER HOUSE LIST
>prince of denmark
>motor city drum ensemble
should be alright
TBQH i like that vinyl survived so heavily in /bleep/, it makes the culture unique and also adds in collecting/owning a psychical copy.
i mean come on who even buys digital music in this day and age, beside dads.
haha, did he post it again? i think its hilarious, dj spinn has like the worst pr team ever, i saw them viralling back in august or septebmer too promoting off that loud, it was sad
Remixes opens with a high-energy mix of "A Message," courtesy of footwork legend DJ Spinn. Spinn leaves the song's structure relatively as-is, adding fills of high-speed drum patterns beneath Kelela's verses to give the song a shuddering spark that puts it at thrilling odds against the original's languorous production. Brazilian baile funk artist MC Bin Laden's take on "Rewind" goes big, using a single line from the song and studding it with drops and verses from the MC to turn it into a towering baile number that wouldn’t sound out of place on the last Major Lazer record. It's riveting, but ultimately feels like filler against a vet like Spinn, who evokes the same urge to dance with significantly less pomp.
>style over substance
Lmao. As opposed to your bleeps which are full of "substance" right? Go jerk off to your kick-on-every-quarter-note, slightly offset vocals, traumprinz bullshit
Heard this out a few times and it's the weakest Beneath release ever, imo
Maybe I'm just prejudiced against the vocal sample, I can't remember what the other track that uses it is but I also don't like it
My first D&B night, at a pretty decent venue in Bristol.
If this is good I'm never going near shitty top 40 chart clubs again.
ANYONE GOING TO OMAR-S TONIGHT??? ANYONE GOING TO OMAR-S TONIGHT??? ANYONE GOING TO OMAR-S TONIGHT??? ANYONE GOING TO OMAR-S TONIGHT??? ANYONE GOING TO OMAR-S TONIGHT??? ANYONE GOING TO OMAR-S TONIGHT??? ANYONE GOING TO OMAR-S TONIGHT???
for the sake of counterbalancing : i also honestly think traumprinz is shit.
too mellow and easy listening, it's like eating something way too sugary.
expecting some ebin fedora maymay to be thrown at me now
hmmm to me the most impressive thing about him is how emotive he manages to be without being corny -- the promise of the new sincerity is alive in his music imho
I feel so flattered mate that you ton the time out of your day to repost a picture of me with that five piece of ass on my shoulder
to fix the problem we got you gotta mix tuneposting with banter, try to put a tune on every reply and we should fix some issues.
maby even get a few decent threads again.
the only way to fix /bleep/ is with yourself.
XL managed to do this thing where they would find some breakbeat hardcore producer who was tipped to be the next big thing and make them hugely famous for a short period of time and then they'd do nothing for a while. The Prodigy was the exception.
I'm an editor for Thump (Vice network) and we'd really love to publish this bit - could you post your email so we can discuss further? Full credit will be given of course. Had our office in stitches!
