I was a big fan in middle school, Kerplunk was a one I loved and its probably decent. I haven't listened in forever though.

I hate green day, but I kind of like jesus of suburbia, it's still shit though

A lot of 90s alt rock (nirvana, soundgarden, etc) and old school punk (clash, ramones). A lot of newer folky/indie stuff too these days too. I've always hated pop-punk, but I heard these guys were great in the 90s. Where do I start?

Pop punk gets a lot of shit but honestly there's some really cool stuff out there. A lot of great neo pop punk too.

I used to be a huge fanboy for this band, to the point where I might as well have been an over obsessed teen girl. Middle school was weird.

I enjoy all of their work up until 21st Century Breakdown. That was where they lost the catchiness and just started going through the ropes. American Idiot was a masterpiece though.

Welcome to Paradise (dookie vers.) is their only decent tune.

Wouldn't listen to them again but still better then mainstream shit today. Dookie is a good album

Insomniac and doomie are thier best.

American idiot was a well made record that was vastly improved on by bands such as Titus andronicus and fucked up.

For a mainstream band though, they're pretty good.
