I have talked to former junkies who describe heroin as being better than your best orgasm times 1000. Basically, the desire for heroin has replaced his desire for sex and romance. He has become so obsessed that he values the drug more than any living person who he could be romantic with. Further evidence of this is when he says "All you girls and your pretty talk, well you can all go take a walk"

Quite sad, really. It has consumed him to the point where he no longer feels love for anyone or anything except for the drug. Scary stuff.
