my nomination, /drone/ over tibetan throat singing
more work from this avante garde artist
Yes noise is a genre but the angelic process aren't noise music, they have a very clear sense of musical structure, melody, rhythm, etc. They're very clearly a mband that sits on the really heavy end of the shoegaze spectrum.
The Faust Tapes
Perf blend of experimentation, pop wizardry, slight obscurity coupled with slight meme factor, peripherally related to just about every experimental genre of the past 50 years
Corest of /mu/core tbqt
I listen to a fair number of field recordings and plenty of drone so i am detached from the social dogma
also how is krautrock weird at all
not only that but who the fuck listens to wall noise, it's a retarded genre.
i have no idea, but I have this thing from ubu.com
>type V songs
new complexity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1ccyftensY
by the way, new complexity isn't really a genre but a term loosely applied to a very small number of composers who don't use it to describe their own works.
I can find no stochastic or aleatoric songs, but here's a song by a composer associated with stochastic music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jESS3gP1GGE
again not a real genre but a term used to loosely describe a small number of polish composers, most of whom quickly abandoned the style that the term refers to
or basically any song from a non-western tradition of music, for instance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShZOS5X3kkY
by definition can't really be songs, I guess if you hooked a vocaloid up to an rng maybe
>leaves out most good genres
>makes up names for genres that probably only have like 1 good album
What exactly is "glitch"? I've never figured out it out. Like Mille Plateaux stuff from early 00's? Cause most of that is not that great.
Pretty sure half of these aren't real genres, just kind of vague names for things that no one would know what you meant if you told them.
