I run a label called Immicat Records. We post showcase mixes of our artist's work on this page. Heres one of those mixes.
Stud Muffin is a House/Dance music producer who is working towards a 2016 release. Recently uploaded some of his new stuff onto his page a few minutes ago
289 Stonerz is a trap/hiphop group of new and experienced artists. I uploaded some of their stuff to their page just now as well.
thathandsomemike is a Grime producer who credited Immicat on his recent release Higher Power. He has a few clips up of some beats on his page. This mix showcases some songs he used for his recent release as well as some unreleased dubs.
Just updated with a new track last night, (even heavier) and a little more dancey.
i am the electronic lobster prophet unleashed, or elpu, a crunchwave electronic group with an intense and experimental style.

Copy-pasting from another thread:
>1. Explain why you make music.
Because chiptune gives me a magic feeling of wonder and enthusiasm that I can barely put into words. It's like a wonderful feeling of waking up in the year 2200 to an utopic digital world. Hell, I don't know how to describe. Chiptune gives me an amazing feeling.
>2. State how long you've been making music.
>3. List your 5 biggest influences, musical or otherwise.
Early Slime Girls and early Anamanaguchi, with a chiptune sound that is less free-form and more structured, similar to a punk rock song but in chiptune form.
Also WMD and Azuria have a way of making chill, relaxing chiptune that inspired me on how to make the smooth, chill part of my song.
>hiphop, Alt, Aussie, Experimental
chill man, it's good, compress them snares or automate their levels a bit is all i can say.
neat man, not my thing but the sounds good.
floaty and funky, keep it up. nice vocal recordings

90's OLD SCHOOL DEVIL SHIT
>noise, glitch, experimental, synth stuff, ambient, etc.
just start with a simple idea, whether it be a musical concept, melody, chord progression, or a certain sound. and then as you work from that, you'll think of things that would nicely accompany it, like filling in the blanks. well, that is just my way of putting it.
> improv, stoners, experimetal, noise, indie
10 new tracks, collect them all!

>Stuff I randomly come up with me
>Check out the latest Gramatik influenced beat!
Made this one over the last few days. It's based around a sample from Dancing in the Moonlight. Not much to it, but leave a comment either on here or (preferably) on my Soundcloud if you have any feedback. I appreciate it, good or bad.
Very funky and right up my alley. Loved the drums on Selection #2. Standout track for me was 'A New Kind of Purple'. Very chilled track, but never boring. Keep it up.

Here's my new Alternative R&B track called "Worth It". It has some Toronto vibes, over "trappier" production than what I've previously done. I appreciate you guys taking the time to listen!
This has gotten a pretty good response, hopefully some of you like it too.
I return all feedback!
>noise, ambient, drone
I'm getting a lot of Post Malone esque vibes from this. This song carries a lot of emotion, the beat bangs hard and the production is fantastic. You should try to reach out to some rappers and get a few features if you plan on doing more trap shit like this. I can just imagine a Future feature on this.
"this is auditory rape" - anon
Vibing hard with the track wia, but it feels a bit empty.
I can see it working as a stand lone song if you maybe threw some samples in there from something, maybe distort them a bit. I don't like the ending tho. It's too different and kills the mood imo
>Sample a bunch of old horror movies
>Music video is basically a slur of old movies

looking to collab with rappers that fit my style and lofi producers so just hit me up on soundcloud! thanks /mu/ broes.
>Bunch of metal
Not mine cause I'm terrible musician/producer, but I'm following this guy's soundclound, love his stuff.
Yeah, this is really nice to hear. He seems like a cool dude, and he makes great music so comparisons like this make me happy. I left some feedback for you on SC.
Hopefully I'll find the right ways to work my way up to some bigger name collabs.
I don't really do anything else than post on here and reddit daily, and I try to engage people as I do so. I've never been a huge fan on social media so that is definitely the aspect that I have to improve on.
The next thing for me is to shoot a music video, and I will do that when I've released a single that gains a bit more traction on SC. At that point, I've got a decent chance to get on the radio in my country, which might lead to a record deal, but I don't need to think about that stuff too much yet.
oh ok, well your music is good so that obviously has something to do with it. but just wandering as your last 2 songs have really skyrocketed in plays etc. so well done man. what sub-reddit/board or whatever they call it do you post to out of interest?
Thanks man. My previous song that hit 15,5 thousand plays got on some playlists on SC by chance so that helped a lot.
I post on
and Makinghiphop on reddit.
Returning feedback and all that.
Critiques and suggestions are really welcome!!!
relatively new to the scene (around for ~8 months). kinda suck ass. but, hey, maybe there's a nugget of something decent hidden in my tunes? eh. listen at your own behest.
