I want to say that i'm really satisfied to have changed from Foobar to MusicBee.
Well, Foobar's plugins are kind of fucked up, specially the lyrics one. I couldn't really customize the layout how i wanted to, it always looked a little like shit. I prefer the Library brower, the skins, the customization options of MusicBee.
Well, for me, basically, everything is better.
This was my foobar layout.
thats a spicy idea for a thread tbqhwy, post your oldest music ITT
why would I need any plugins from musicbee that eat up my memory?
how the hell do you have 23 Daft Punk albums
also Musicbee is nice but I still prefer Foobar's customization, not to mention that I've used it for years so I'm reluctant to ever switch
Remix singles and this kind of stuff.
I used to download the WHOLE discography of some artists some years ago, thank god i don't do it anymore, but i still keep the ones i've downloaded.
I always tag classical releases by the year the performance was recorded. The Vivaldi record here doesn't have a year assigned to it because I have no idea what fucking recording it is.
To me, it feels bloated, and at the same time less functional than musicbee. Also they for some reason took away the ability to look at a large version of the artwork. With musicbee I can have a beautiful, large picture of the album right there while I listen.
Wait, does that Musicbee thing actually make the album view in the colors of the artwork like iTunes?
It's literally the only reason why I still use iTunes and refuse to switch. It just look so tasty. But if Musicbee had that too, I'd consider moving to that.
>it looks better
it doesnt have a gradient like that but it does change the color
Yeah, but it's monochromatic.
another example of the color change (not black)
I like the musicbee design but I really appreciate the minimalism I have on my foobar setup and don't really get why people try so hard to make their setups so complex.
I don't know about Musicbee but it's pretty easy in Foobar
These are the options. What you can do is edit/paste the lyric you want and it will save into the music file, but i'm not sure if it can read from a file as Foobar.
Their b-sides, non-album singles, remixes and live stuff are pretty great.
Does anyone here know how to replace the little thumbnail images for the artists on the left side of the screen for musicbee? I tried replacing the actual files but they eventually just go back to how they were.
>sorting by genre
>sorting by country
>artist name next to song name
as long as you promise not to call it a pape
>he doesn't sort by genre
how many artists are in your library, four?
i admit it looks better without the artist name, though
>He doesn't know about the wonders of Winamp
