ITT musicians' deaths that will hit you hard
He's a complete dick at times, but he's one hell of a character. Him and his band also played a huge band in the shaping of rock and music in general. Not to mention how much their music have had an impact on my life,
I listen to those albums at least once a week.
The day he dies I'll probably need to be alone for a while.
Almost all of their songs are good, really.
>yfw you realize all these old people dying isn't going to devastate you half as much as people who are young right now getting old and dying
Came here to post Waters. For as much as his reputation has soured around here, The Wall is and always will be the album that first got me more seriously interested in music back when I was 14, and his lyrics played a big part in the way my worldview developed in my teens too. He's probably the rock star I have the most profound connection with, and I'll definitely be sincerely upset when he goes.
I know that this will be the one to hit me very hard.
Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails)
James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem)
Panda Bear (Animal Collective)
Roger Waters (Pink Floyd)
that faggot from Modest Mouse
hot chick i'd bang
Gene and Dean Ween
Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins)
Jeff Mangum (Neutral Milk Hotel)
Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine)
Even thinking about it at all bums me out
But when he passes I'm not going to be okay for a long time
especially once i realized he composed the rugrats theme, the rocket power theme, and his music studio made the music for the crash bandicoot games. dude's music has literally been with me all my life
I honestly think I will cry pretty hard when she goes
If he dies anytime soon my entire year would be ruined.
Will his death be as sad as Bowie's?
Aw yeah. That'll happen relatively soon too. And normies will just be like "rip 'don't worry be happy' man" without understanding why he's so special and positive and what a loss that will be.
But hey hopefully it will introduce some to his live performances, improv stuff, and his Yo Yo MA collabs
>being sad about geezers dying
it would really only be sad if any of these guys died in their prime, knowing they have masterpieces up their sleeves that we would never get to hear, they've lived through their praise, nothing to lose really
Maybe this guy? I don't think anybody will hit me as hard as Bowie did, which is a relief in a way
Or maybe this guy..
I don't care what people think of him now
I'm going to be so depressed
>it matters if the vanilla ice of south africa dies
I fucking hope you die along with him, you piece of human garbage.
He's probably the most talented artist to ever come out of South Africa.
Definitely one of the most ambitious artists of the last few decades, if the Ziggurat is anything to go off of.
I hope its not too soon ;_;
