Black star is legitimately my favorite thing by him. Before it came out I just thought Bowie as a shittier version of Queen. After he died I thought I could check his discography out as they seem to be very highly rated. Most of it bored me to no end. I have appreciation for the sounds cape in low though and I think he had some amazing songs such as Starman and rebel rebel. However, most of his shit is mediocre and I feel like I wasted time.

they;re nothing alike, maybe just tha fact that they too had a strong image abouth them, but so did literally everyone in that time. The thing about bowie was that he was complletely aware that the image in the rock music isn't only for being cool,but also might be interesting , that's why he was able to reinvent himself this many times. Musically also he was always changing, collaborating with all the different artists unlike every other 70s rockstar who all stagnated in rockist, guitar wankery state, maybe only other popular rock musician who managed to do this was Frusciante, but lets n't talk about it ;/
