not really accurate
TPAB is a weak joke
Bleach doesn't belong there
just a lot of boring shit forced in there
Andy Warhol and the Bananas doesn't really belong on the /mu/core bit, it goes into "classics"
most accurate one coming through
>Its okay for /mu/ to have a chart of the same albums to circlejerk over but when Reddit does it with pleb shit too, all hell breaks loose on /mu/
Real people created this list.
That's the hardest part about this, is the realisation that it's real.
Continuing with your blasphemy, I am about to make a bold statement. Reminder to everyone that /mu/core isn't about what is most loved, it's about what's most talked about. Yet an artist that is frequently talked about (and memed) here has never been featured on a major /mu/core chart:
Visions should be added for the same reason Kid A is, Grimes is a pretty frequent topic on /mu/ whether you like her or not.
alright i haven't read the thread yet but it probably sucks
obviously bleach and siamese dream are baits, the lack of swans probably is too
but before i close this thread out, let me just say that no one is ever gonna care about a /mu/core chart that isn't this huge one, or the little 10 album one.
I don't think there is an album that /mu/ will agree on (by Death Grips). I originally intended to add The Money Store, but I could already see people: "HURR THE POWER THAT B, GOVERNMENT PLATES..... DURR"
i think TPAB should be replaced by GKMC
splits less hairs and there was more actual discussion about the album instead of
>KEK KEK KEK
>NIGGERS TONGUE MY ANUS
>U MAD WHITEY
I don't know which albums specifically, but Sufjan and Joanna should probably have some representation on /mu/core chart. Even when it's been years between releases they are discussed and referenced daily. I would think Illinoise or Age of Adz and HOOM?
i made this one like a year and a half ago, i think it still holds up pretty good. what do you famalam think?
I love The Money Store, but it doesn't belong. The other albums have all had time to sit, and are generally completely appreciated by /mu/.
Putting fucking TPAB in this shit is so stupid. You're all going to realize that this album was contrived as fuck in a year.
