It's a really good album. Germs are great also.
yeah cuz u always post weeb shit xd
listen to this song by them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pd6y3JRzw38
a good description of their sound would be beatdown sludge
btw I used to be "metalcoreguy" but now my name is cool as well
Everytime I listen to this cover by Sid I it brings me down man, you know the original song spoke to him big time. He passed away giving the least amount of fuck to anything and that's punk.
>FIX ME FIX MY HEAD FIX ME PLS I DONT WANNA BE DEAD
My go-to soundtrack when I feel like I hate myself
Based black flag choice, I forgot to mention
I too thought that was a great moment
Although I don't like every track so far, I can
see this one growing on me
As a huge fan of both I can say I would def put them in a list together
I know you love cock and all, but there comes a time when enough is enough and it's gotta come out. Your inner fag just keeps spewing out all over the place and people are sick of it. Sorry.
Are you fucking gay or something? Who gives a shit how "easily discoverable" a song is, you're a fucking autist if you care about someone recommending a song to someone. Get back to your shitty "underground" bands who will sell out as soon as they get a little attention.
Pushing the same values the political machine pushes
Yeah, because they parrot the message
Food not Bombs, Pussy Riot, etc.
Submissive instead of aggressive.
One thing I fucking hate with Punk are those who get all bent out of shape when someone listens to a band that may not meet you individual definition of Punk.
I listen to stuff like Leftover Crack, Reagan Youth, Choking Victim, Conflict, along with more mainstream shit, like, Rancid, Distillers, Gogol Bordello.
When I see someone listening to the real mainstream shit, I don't call them out on it, I may try to lead them onto other stuff that they may enjoy, but under NO Circumstances do I straight up call them out.
Punk used to be about accepting others, and doing what you want without caring. Now it is just like another sub-culture.
>Punk used to be about accepting others, and doing what you want without caring. Now it is just like another sub-culture.
Not true for Britpunk and not true for American punk. Sorry. Good taste though.
>Horrid Cross. I like them
Me too! Great band.
It's good. Posting more /texas/.
Been listening to this stuff lately
Saw these guys on halloween. Bet you cunts are jealous.
>punk used to be
Because you were there 40 years ago when it started. Punk is no different now then it was then. If anything, it's more accepting now. Less people get hurt at shows. Nazis showing up at shows has become extremely rare. If you didn't fit in in a punk show back then you got hurt. Today all kinds of people show up at punk shows and nobody cares.
It's pretty good.
Both from Austin.
Also I'd like to add that the punk sound is not comparable to how it sounded back then, the genre has become much broader and has grown in many separate scenes and subgenres.
These guys snuck in a good one at the end of last year. FFO powerviolence / hardcore like nails, weekend nachos
2015 punk AOTY
do yourself a favor and check these guys out
rudimentary peni and nick blinko (he does all the album art and works for "outsider art") are top tier
>says mu's essential 80s punk and hard core at top
ok m8 i know your game
I also have a first wave chart that is p neat
Yay! Got charts for more recent European stuff? I mean I know all of these already, but my Euro game has been weak for like the past 5-10 years.
Also what did you think of the new Hellbastard and Halshug?
discharge and gbh are v closely related, from the same record label, tour together
80s was the most influential time for punk, the best time IMHO
D beat is a subgenre of punk
swankys! did you know they released other stuff under the name gai
i dont listen to alot of contemporary european music, hellbastard yes
it has a broad range to check out, not my cup of tea, and i certainly did not make it but it does have some real good albums as well
Do check out that Halshug album, too then you may like it.
