post what you're listening, new releases etc.
>ITT: highschoolers trying to seem cool while thinking "screamo" is nu-metal
such a shame /emo/ went to shit but I mean we all saw it coming
no one wanted to post in /emo/ because the weebs wouldnt stop posting anime and th anti-weebs refused to have any conversation in weeb threads, so the thread never broke 100 posts before dying
This seems at least tangetially related.
I haven't spammed these in a while so if anyone is wondering about 90's emocore and has my same tastes in music, I made up some charts delineated by genre.
Few of these bands are "trew screamo" or "trew emo," just creative hardcore and post-hc.
Chart #3: Melodic Emo: now with less "emo"
Not exactly popular opinions here...
I was growing up around this time and after Promise Ring, Get Up Kids and Texas is the Reason, I had given up on emo-rock as a creative genre. Then Americ Anfootball gets spammed here all the time so I decided to give it a try yesterday and now I might need to change this chart.
>entry level = poor quality
lurk more you autist
>seeing as half the board is neo /mu/ and hasn't heard shit countless times
so why contributing with the same /mu/core and sub-/mu/core shit? It is only prolonging the problem even more
it's just post-hardcore senpai
The weebs did nothing wrong. We actually discussed emo.
I have been listening to some local bands. Not really new to be honest, but this decade. Also not too well known.
