Guys like DH and Gene Simmons are amazingly disconnected dinosaurs who don't understand how the world today works or how the 60s-80s was just a fluke era when recorded music became a cash cow. Back in pre-Beatles times, you hardly made anything from record sales and now it seems we've gone back to those days.

Why? The 60s-80s had a couple of lucky coincidences that resulted in huge record sales. These included a giant baby boomer audience to sell music to and also a proliferation of different formats from vinyl to 8 tracks to cassettes to CDs, meaning that you could sell the same album over and over again on different formats.

As long as us as respectable parents teach our kids the power of great songwriting hopefully this music will live on. Its a fucking joke seriously like over the years ive become one of those people who has slowly stopped listening to radio and i barely watch tv. Literally only watch tv when im having dinner and seriously when i hear the radio now i want to kill myself. Every every song sounds the same.
