Just uploaded a collection of my best songs that have a similar vibe. Had been just posting things individually to Soundcloud but something is very satisfying about releasing a collection.
>>electronic, mellow, sampled (field recordings n such), Bret Michaels covers
> lofi, ambient, folk, fuzzy. Sad songs revolving around a girl (what else?)
Will give feedback and recs in another post
>new single from Dragao Inkomodo
>chillwave, experimental, plunderphonics, world / exotic
>record label / art collective
Here's my Bandcamp, and my new single that's on SC which I hope that you'll check out.
It's been a while since I wrote here, or uploaded music.
This new single called "Worth It" has some Toronto vibes, over "trappier" production than what I've previously done.
I return all feedback!
this is >>61612950, doing some feedback, may or may not do some more later.
very crisp, clean production. I appreciate how you dont try to stretch every song into 4 or 5 minutes. keeps things moving nicely. Downloaded for further listening.
desu im not a fan, i like your production, its got a cozy feel, but i dont like the arrangements and melodies.
When it comes to ambient, i prefer layers and lots of texture, so thus spoke madness isnt really my cup of tea. However, it does have a super dark and foreboding feel to it all, good job on nailing that.
downloaded for further listening
I realize coming from me, its ironic, but the high end hiss in every song is annoying. Otherwise, solid. I would like to see this go in an even more twee mingled with shoegaze direction.
I've never heard of exotic world chillwave before so this is a pretty interesting mix of those genres. Though if I'm honest, I'm not hearing much chillwave in there.
I like the simplicity and honesty of this. You did great getting really natural feeling lo-fi sound. Those are some really nice vocal harmonies too.
>soft synth, ambient
Returning all feedback
my friend's music + a video i put together for one of the songs!
It would be great to get some feedback, trying to get this project off the ground
I'm about halfway through this and I'm really enjoying it. I have a fascination with grocery stores so this hit me just right.
What is your creation process? Did you find the footage before you wrote the music or after, because there are some really nice musical moments that fit well with the visuals.
hallucinatory experience is a great one man!
I really dig the lyrics and blingy synths, especially on Fault Lines and One Wrong Move.
I don't really care for Smoke and Mirror, it grates a lil too much on my ears. Same goes for 5.1 Sv, I typically dig lo-fi, but this track's production feels lazy honestly.
The minimalist instrumentation on Leaning was nice until the shit MIDI drums came in. The lyrics on Sure are great. Not a fan of the effect on the guitar around 2:10, sounds too bedroomy. Free Time Plus Panic has great lyrics but the bass sounds silly and the vocals make me wince at times.
Change is prolly my fav track.
> Post-rock, ambient, electronic
New stuff releasing Jan 16th.
>I'm aware they don't make noise by themselves
>MIDI is they
ok now im just shitting with you. I knew what you meant. MIDI meaning a set of sounds that are included as "general MIDI" for sharable MIDI files... consumer brand keyboards, wesley willis etc... MISPLACED RANT: It more pisses me off when I see an electronic record and it says "no MIDI used" because 1) k thanks, would make no difference in the sound but whatever i guess 2) this artist probably did use MIDI sequencer not even know it.
I made my first demo and I want to share it with you all.
>dream pop, ambient, samples, live acoustic set, psych-folk
Please let me know what you folks think :-)
Don't worry thread, I'll save you.
This is our most recent release as a duo, a 'mini-LP' with songs written from 2013 thru 2014 that was recorded and came out in September of 2015.
>noisy/sludgy alternative rock
We recorded an album over the summer with two other members which is being mixed currently (it's a slow process but it'll sound great) that is gonna' come out in the first half of this year most likely. AND we have another album that was recorded in these last couple of weeks that should be out maybe in the last half of this year. We'll see.
I've been up to a lot of music stuff recently, one of the guys that was on the 'summer' album and I are recording an album together sometime, and I'm in another band with him as well which has been working on a full length.
Check out BIRCH BARKS and Joplin Rice on bandcamp
