Can I get an honest opinion on Lido's production on this album? My impression of Halsey herself, her vocals, lyrical content, personality etc have only been from /mu/ and so I'm hesitant to give it a go because of that, but Lido is an insane songwriter and so I think I'll listen to it just for that.

Anyway, honest opinion /mu/, are the actual songs (not Halsey) on this album any good? Help me make a lazy, informed opinion before I actually listen to it myself like the fucking drone that I am.

Yep that's exactly what I thought too. There's none of his usual charm, which is unfortunate. To be fair they're not supposed to take centre stage, and there's some elements that I recognise as being his but overall I don't think the songs themselves stand out too much.

Quite possibly. Lot of hype around it, I really thought it would be a return to form. Got disappointed, not only by the album but the whole live shows and band.
