cheers cunts :)
pretty groovy, perfect for a cup of coffee in the morning
new demo for the new year
>sad girl feels
duuuuuuude i love your rapping, followed
thanks! Banshee is a killer track, you've got great sound control, the bass sounds huge. only thing I could recommend work on is the drums, they could be a bit fuller in the kick/snare area. it sounds great but these should be dominant aspects in the mix. really tight stuff though, some of the most polished experimental stuff I've heard on these threads
hahah sick! haka x djent is savage as fuck. too bizarre to give real feedback on but I dig it. shouts out to NZ
nice voice man. backing the western vibe at the beginning, production is rough though. the scratchiness is cool to begin with but the creak on the chord changes is way too harsh. good progressions!
How do i make my songs less shit?
I return feedback on sc
<chill guitar, ambient vocals, beats & bass
>needs tips and feedback
Hey, it's my newest track, I hope you'll like it. I'm not sure about the mastering. All tips and constructive critiques welcome!
>sample based hip hop/trip hop beats
>music to pet your dog to
>smooth n' jazzy shit
> experimental rock
this is me

actually if anyone could help me figure out how to genre my stuff I'd love you.
it ranges from downtempo/glitch with the wrong synths to dubstep at the wrong tempo
not gonna lie I'm off to bed but I will try to return feedback later
Kempers - Ayyy <3
idk end me
>guitar driven songs
>instrumental trap bass
>Uploaded 2 new tracks, check them out
Singer/Songwriter, Feedback very appreciated. I make weird glitchy beats and folk music, Grand.
New Sounds Up2dDay get Up2Date
>suicide lofi anthemic ending
>drum and bass
Just made it tell me what y'all think.
Everyone in this thread
Im out but ill try to give feedback to everyones soundcloud
Positivity is the major key
glitchy wonky bassy track that you'll like.
New Techno !
New Hardcore !
>various electronic stuff
Feedback on sc :)
heres the original for comparison
I don't normally do anime music, but a friend of mine was remixing it so I had like sudden splurge of inspiration.
anime music op tho
I love you're energy (per the usual). Great stuff tho keep it up.
Shit dude. Keep this up Im loving this spacey atmospheric hiphop feel. Top notch on the guitar btw. Is it sampled or recorded? Big ups if its recorded.
Here's my new Alternative R&B track called "Worth It". It has some Toronto vibes, over "trappier" production than what I've previously done. I appreciate you guys taking the time to listen!
This has gotten a pretty good response, hopefully some of you like it too.
I return all feedback!
i have to go to school shortly :3
>phase1.0 (give me a rating between 1 and 10)
>noise, glitch, experimental, synth stuff, ambient, etc.
Fuck why am i always late
>electronic, a plethora of genres
Just checked out phase1.0.
I liked it, I like the softness of the sounds you use, however maybe you need some harder sounds to contrast, otherwise it's a bit flat.
Also each track seems a bit short of breath, it doesn't go enough places maybe. But this is me being very critical, and just my on opinion, I did enjoy it.
Give it a listen if you can withstand 3 minutes of varied guitar instrumental
>creepy/dark guitar work
> melodic ambient
>Post Rock, Jazz, Ambient, Math, Experimental
Another new track. Inspired by Talk Talk, Miles Davis, Can, King Crimson, and Tortoise. Would love feedback, cheers x
>folk at times
>New upload today
Returning all feedback on Soundcloud!
will return feedback
New track is up, unmastered but I wanted to see how many like the idea. Comments and Criticism, I return it all!
I have just upoaded on YT the 2nd track of the project ''Underated''.
I'll put it on sc soon !
>cover, I had fun making this
Feedback always appreciated ! Will return it on SC.
Thank you for 1000 plays!
Demo from an ep I am hoping to release soon.
Always return feedback on Soundcloud
New songs coming soon. Just got some time with the vocalist.
If you would like feedback from me, please ask me.
Need production assistance, please ask me.
Made this awhile ago when I was all sorts of depressed and finally heard it again months later, just wanted to share it with you guys.
I will return feedback on soundcloud.
always looking for rappers and producers to work with hit up my inbox if you're interested
Okay, so first I have to ask: What are you using to make your music? Which DAW, which plugins etc?
In the meantime, I think that you could improve a lot by changing the virtual instruments you are using. Your percussion sounds very cheap and gets in the way of the song.
Don't be afraid to bring up the volume on your non-percussion instruments. The beat is hitting hard, but covering the rest of the track too much.
A little more variation would be good. Have a listen to your favourite beats, and pay attention to all the changes that happen, and how often they happen. Even a small change in a passage can be very interesting/engaging and help the song out a lot.
I can see where you are going with your beats, and your ideas are good. I just think you need to pay attention to a few things (the things I just listed) and you will grow a lot.
One last thing: Practice a lot of EQ'ing on things. Find a sound of your favourite artist (maybe a kit or synth), then try and EQ one of yours to sound as close to that as you can. You might not make it perfect (that would be pretty impossible), but you will learn a lot about EQ.
Keep practicing, keep making music, keep asking questions :)
I am sorry if this feels a little harsh. I know you are a beginner and I am just trying to be as honest as possible.
Take som time and learn about compression! Your drums especially kicks benefit a LOT from being compressed and EQ'ed the "right way". Its such an important element of a track along with the bass.
Get your bass and kick going and it will take your tracks to the next level.
I guarantee it.
Also learn about Transients, Phase Alignment, and whatever basic music theory you can.
TRY YOUR HARDEST not to get sucked into the "this genre needs to have this layout (eg, intro, break, drop1, drop2, break, drop 2, outro) just make whatever comes to you, and follow through. once you finish, share it. if people don't like it, fuck it, move on to the next. but most importantly, NEVER STOP PRODUCING.
>a single soundcloud thread
If you spend some time listening to my songs and eventually giving feedback I'd be glad to do the same. Just ask me :P
I don't really like the voice but the song is cool
Reminds me of a famous rap instrumental.
Maybe too much bass
Clean ! Maybe you should try adding more details/fx with a bit of panning
A bit repetitive but great
Sick Shine is great too
You should keep making music
Fatigue glitch moment is sick
In the future you should try more side-chain and bass on your drums
Melody is saturating on drone
Great kick drum
Too much reverb !! Try listening with headphones/earphones.
And: Weeee come too far... to give up.... who we are
sometimes there's multiple voices at the same time I find it annoying
Descent cover though but prod could be better
Eq is descent
Drums are cool
A more prominent break could be great
interesting instrumental for rap
but drums are weak imo
I'd say not enough high end and sidechain
snare and clap should hit way harder
eve is extremely cool
Nice sound design
DAFUQ GUYS ILL PHILL IS PLAYING FOR MY RELEASE PARTY IN DA CLUB !!!!!!!!!!!!! IM SO FUCKIN EXITED
Now I gotta learn how to mix before march ><
Put up some new stuff recently, happy to return feedback!
Just released our debut LP
YUNG SMUL X WHITE DEVIL
>Cheery disjointed dance tune
>Lively, very melodic
>Trumpet, harpsichord, piano solo, organ, synths
>"Epic" adventurous song
This ain't too bad, I'd say you've got talent. It's really soothing. If I were you I would raise the volume of the background sounds a bit, and dare to take longer pauses with the guitar playing. Nice guitar sound btw
Love the drum beat, goes very well with the phased synth thing. Really nice chords later on too!
just sampled the water level from donkey kong last night. check it out let me what you all think.
I commented on SC, but I do wanna say I love it, production is pretty on point with the drums. It's a great idea now elaborate on it. scroll thru the level music and take little bits and pieces, try and even recreate some of the melodies
>hip hop mostly
i never finish any projects and the mixing is all shit
>Experimental Rock, Electronic, Ambient, Film Score
>electronic, instrumental hip hop, fuzzy, scifi
>Noise, Drone, Ambient
Floyd meets stp
Critics are welcome!
My last track is almost finished and I'm trying to do some new things in it.
I make goofy raps about everything I can.
I don't do this to make some statement. I do it because I genuinely enjoy it. If I laugh or make someone else smile, then I've succeeded at my goal. I know I'm a goofy little white guy, but my rapping reflects that.
>Pic related is the heart of my setup. I got it from a flea market for $25.
Feedback on here has pretty much been "It's shit, but it's GENUINE shit." And no one has told me to kill myself yet. I call that a success.
Still a novice @ production and I'm working with very little equipment but can I get some genuine feedback on this
It's sort of uuh digital noiserock/noisepop or something. don't want to post my sc because I mostly make minimal techno there and this is something much different
returning all follows and comments
>Melancholic as hell
Last three threads i tried posting to deleted within like 10 minutes mods pls
>Experimental Nonsensical Angstyish Hip Hopish stuff
>Will return all feedback on here & SC

I just uploaded an indian CD worth playing, listen

>not quite sure what it is haha
hope you guys dig.
>mfw i listen to your stuff.
first 'production' track
the rest is piano/acoustic/stoner stuff
shh..shharon? sharon needles?
>she's my baby
also, the song is pretty good. only flaw i have is, and i know i say this a lot, it's a little bit too compressed. that's my only real issue with it
lo fi indie doodles yah
Something I made couple of hours ago. Ain't completely happy about the mix yet tho'. Thougths?
>Guitar, Piano and shit.
WiP Tech house type stuff
Let me know if you got any ideas or criticism
>>61562822 (tritium 441 - 16)
i think it sounds good, but it's kind of lacking.
for positives, it's very well produced and catchy. the reason i say it's lacking though is because i felt that synthline could've built up to something great, but it just kind of started, stopped, started again, and the song ended. i'd complain about that repetitive cowbell (?) sample that comes in during the second half of the song, but that'd be hypocritical :P
it's good, but i felt like it needed something more.
downtempo, instrumental, trip-hop
>not sure precisely
returning all feedback and follows, just made this soundcloud yesterday. thanks in advance family
>fuzzy punk rock
THIS A DOPE FIEND EMPIRE EXCLUSIVE YOU AINT GONNA HEAR THIS SHIT EVERY DAY.................... CHECK THIS SHIT

>Beats pretty smooth.
>Dem vibez doe..
finna look threw the thread n comment/like/follow the shit im fuckin wit.
Been over two weeks. Here we go again.
>homemade folk/indie rock demos
fuck dude, if you're going to make a mashup at least line em up properly. sounds like the vocals are all isolated, just place them properly and on time and it'll probably pretty decent
ok idea (albeit redundant), terrible execution
PLEASE don't hit me up with a "I wasn't even trying dude this isn't serious"
lyrical hip-hop/dope flows/experimental rhyme schemes

>it's music alright
>experimental, slow, electronic, recording
>track I have been stuck on, trying to add more parts
I think I wanna add some sort of post-punk-y 8th note guitar bit, or maybe a synth lead with the melody for the song, but I just can't figure out where to go with this one. Supposed to sound eerie, kinda like twin peaks
rigitty rec this homie
>production,rap, vocals & features
new music soon, thank you <3
>Some tracks are experimental
My 2 recent beats were for a competition/challenge on reddit. The most recent one was to make a beat with one soundkit, samples included. The other was to make a beat for a sample. Hope yall enjoy

my lunar sounds.
This is hilarious, amazing, and I love it. It's so perfect that the tag is #education, hahaha. Um, yeah... I don't know what else to say. Good job yo.
Listened to Drown. In general I like it. Specific criticism would be to mix in the main lead guitar in louder during the intro and chorus. I liked the vocal harmonies. Less specific criticism, sounds like a fairly obvious rip-off of Ride and Slow-dive. I think you have to find ways to differentiate yourself from other shoe-gaze bands.
Anywho, here's my shit. New song. I'd love some feed back y'all.
Listened to Alien House and it was crazy dude. I like it a lot. Never heard anything like it before and the tone on that lead synth is so fucking tasty. Keep it up yo!
at times reminded me a lot of is a real boy. vocals could definitely be improved, is there flanger on there or something? try more comp + light reverb. sounds like youre across the room
Just made a new track
>electronic or some shit idk genre
>Mac DeMarcoish, Kevin Parkerish, don't know.
To anyone who likes the band "Listener," I made a noise/ambient/glitch version of Seatbelt Hands.
really liked this tune. the guitar was catchy, I loved the bass tone and the lyrics were quite good. like
>Stand back from me; it’s poison, I’m deadly
>to your state of well being
>But if you can bare it, let us treed lightly
>to prove that this is not fleeting
know this feel man, keep on keepin on, your music sounds great :)
this is me
