Can anybody tell me where Rock music is at?
I mean, I die Rock was pretty big from what I could tell, fth from 2009-22009-2012/2013
But now it seems like it'd been nothing but EDM/Country/Hip Hop.
I mean really it'd been lile this for a while now, but it seems like indie rock was up there with those genres until at least 2012.
What the fuck happened? Is it still feasible for a band to prop up and become successful?
Certainly it seems like it's impossible for Hard Rocking bands
You sound painfully musically uncultured. There was a new Napalm Death album not long ago, as well as a lot of hard hitting rock and metal records last year
>Julian Casablancas + The Voidz
Shitty metalcore and post hardcore bands also keep releasing records and warped tour is still going strong. You're right that interest in rock is less strong with this generation though, and for a reason. I think you should just branch out, because there's much more to music than Rock, Country, Hip Hop and ''EDM''.
I'm talking about relevant music. Of course rock music still dominated all the greatest albums of the year, etc
But I'm talking about music that sells well and is on the radio, autist.
rock music isn't at the forefront anymore because the fans act like annoying cunts, sensitive but manly bullshit that's literally the gayest thing in the world, and horrible cliches like insane shreddy guitar solos that go on too long, and creed-voice.
if you were forced to listen to rock radio at work like i am you would know what i mean.
in other words a whole new wave of buttrock and idiots that like it for some reason
