-orchestrated samples from older tunes of any sort

- said orchestral samples used for stabs.. i like hearing a nice stab then an arp'd bass line on top of it, usually plucky.

- creative use of 808, especially enjoy hearing what vibert does to an 808 sound.

- low and hi shelf contrasts, you hear it a lot in jungle/dnb music

- bass rolls especially found in "post-dubstep" (if I may!)

- post production shit i enjoy: a nice use of mid-band split on a reverb plugin for "glueing" sections together.. if done right it makes my ears spark...
